Altered Maps ΙΓ: To make a map larger than what it maps.

One thing I find strange is one band I listen to managed to qualify for Eurovision a couple of years ago. What made it strange was the kind of music they played didn't seem like the kind that would appear on Eurovision.

Hard Rock Hallelujah was a very silly song, but isn't that Eurovision all over?

Iirc Hungary doesn't. Hungary wants their own empire of some decades:

Which looks a bit like an agitated aardvark :)

(notice how the part "to Slovakia" is simply all of Slovakia :) ).

Slovakia was basically Northern Hungary since around year 1029 until the end of WW1.

And before that, since year 1001 until around year 1029, Slovakia was Southern Poland:

The loss of Slovakia and other lands by Hungary was sealed by the Treaty of Trianon.

============================

Croatia wasn't really part of Hungary as it had an autonomous status within the Crown.

Area lost by Hungary to Ukraine in 1945 had belonged to Hungary only since 1938.

Between the end of WW1 and 1938 that area belonged to Czechoslovakia.

Why is there so low unemployment in North Dakota? By what I've heard about it, it's a rigid land filled with angry Americans or something.

And why is the beloved state of California so unemployed?

North Dakota is well known to be going through a massive oil boom right now, people are moving there due to the plentiful jobs.

I wonder if there are any cultural differences as to what constitutes as race in say India, compared to elsewhere.

I wonder what percentages "people of a different religion" would pick up.

Now that is one interesting map, even though as other posters have hinted it might be a bit deceptive at first glance.

I'm a bit surprised Japan is so low, particularly considered to other Asian countries, for instnace, but I suspect there are probably good reasons why that is.
