Seems cool to me the territorial management of these two 'short-termed' empires. It was like, oh this region just conquered has exactly the same value, so to speak, as the our heartland:

Also: Crimea will surely just be an autonomous republic. :S (i always hate what happened by now, but it seems very unrealistic that Crimea won't be de facto part of Russia).
 
It already is part of the Russian Federation [de facto, not de jure]. Im gonna saber rattle here and say we need to send troops (as in NATO needs to send in troops).

Why should they? Majority of population in both are declaring Ukrainian as their ethnicity, despite using the Russian language more. Language policies would be devolved in any case, with federal institutions accepting both Ukrainian and Russian as official languages.

Trans-Carpathia (Zakarpattia A.O.) would also recognize Hungarian and pay special attention to preserving Rusyn (Ruthene) language and culture. Crimea would be returned to Ukraine as autonomous republic enjoying a special eased border-crossing regime with Russia.
