Spoiler :
The yellow circle is San Bernardino, sized to initial, unconfirmed reports of the victims so far. (The San Bernardino Fire Department has said there are believed to be at least 20 people injured in the shooting.) The blue circles are those in which people were killed; outlined circles are the number injured.

So the safest places in the United States are the high plains, the mountains, and West Virginia.

Noted.

I hate to be a bad sport but Fr8monkey's map should have been in daily graphs and charts

Toronto's new LRT line in orange & brown (under construction now, costing $5 billion+)

Can also see plans for a subway extension in the north west

Maybe they can add a third line and we could finally have a functioning public transit system.

the sheppard line must have been designed by the same kind of person who, playing mini metro, decided that they didn't want to overburden an existing line any more.

The line was championed by a Toronto mayor who hailed from North York, which is a part of Toronto centered around where the Yellow/yonge line intersects the Purple/Sheppard line.

It's not fully unwarranted, as that part of the city had actually been growing quite a bit at the time (I used to actually live right there near that intersection and used to work at the other terminus of the line - before it existed.) .. There is a bit of a mini skyline at North York centre, skyscrapers, etc. It's a lot more built up than the city I live in for example, or even the #9 city in Canada by population or #8.

One of the issues is that the line was initially supposed to extend all the way east to Scarborough and link up with the LRT they have there. Look at Kennedy station in the east - the subway there turns into that LRT line and runs north-east all the way to Scarborough city centre. That's where the Sheppard line was supposed to run to, but they didn't have enough political points or money in the budget or whatever to make it happen at the time.

And by "right-to-work", they actually mean "fire-at-will", right?

Right to work, as I understand, means that Businesses and Unions cannot have agreements to require new employees to join the Union. The purpose of these agreements was to prevent non-union employees from unfairly piggy-backing off the struggles of Unionized workers. The conservative argument for Right to Work is that the Union shouldn't dictate who the company can hire, while the other pro-labor argument is that deals between labor and management are none of the government's business.

That sounds stupid. All workers have rights to the same entitlements. Unions shouldn't fight for themselves, but for all workers.

Typical of those pagans to get presents from goat demons.
The Christmas log ? No wonder they can't into independence.
And the Christmas lads sounds like stage name for a male stripper band bringing presents.
