while you're at it... the colours of Germany are a bit off :p

But I do like the map :)

Do you have some method for making those maps quickly, or do you make each one of those maps by hand?

The map itself you should recognise from Altered Maps, just blank maps. For the flags itself. from wiki, copying, pasting, cropping, reducing, superimposing, paint fill-in-ing, drawing and moving about. So... by hand.

And South Sudan

My failure!

Libya should be updated as well.

And Kosovo too.

And here's where I make my stand!

Kosovo is not a country! The day it gets U.N membership is the day I recognise it as one.

Why U.N membership?

Because we should have standards on what is and is not a country. International Recognition seems like the best standard and UN membership is basically the international endorsement of a nation's independent status.

I dont recognize the zionist entinty (Israel as you call it) even though it has UN membership, but I recognize Palestine

I think we have all heard enough on your view in Israel.
I am not even pro Israel (I am helping to organise an Israeli Apartheid week for instance) but your hatred of the state is way to extreme.

I recognize Israel. And Palestine.
I just don't recognize Hamasstan or Zionic republic of Israel.

And I see that you've pained Taiwan red, so we can't accuse you of inconsistency on this. ;)

So are Kosovo and Palestine. And Somaliland, SADR, Nagorno-Karabakh, South Ossetia, Transnistria, Abkhazia, and Northern Cyprus... did I miss any?

Don't forget Sealand, Seborga, Molassia, and Kugelmugel.

I'm not sure if Micronations are even de facto independent.

To be fair, Sealand has complete control over it's entire territory, also I don't think the British Government ever officially protested the Sealandic state.;)

But Taiwan is de facto independent.

Neither SADR or Palestine can be said to be independent. SADR is at best a government-in-exile whose supporters control a small part of actual Western Sahara.

Yes, SADR control a small part, but the part they control is independent.

Recognized ot not, Palestine, SARD (but not the entire territory), the Republic of China, Kosovo... are all independent countries. Northern Cyprus is de facto independent or Turkish?

What if only the areas that voted for Quebec sepratism became independant?
