Why is Roanoke in the West?

Because that's where the city of Roanoke is.

Anyways, Spanish Domination: Part 4!

1733. Iberia is by far the most powerful nation in Europe, having taken over part of France and Bulgaria, and grabbing several pieces of the Ottoman Empire after it's collapse in the Great Ottoman War. Also during that war, Russia and Wallachia took the Crimea, and 5 states became independent: Bosnia, Serbia, Bulgaria, Byzantium, and Hejaz. Meanwhile, Austria takes Transylvania but loses some land to Moldavia, Russia takes the rest of Lithuania, Norway becomes independent, and West Germany takes some more German minors, causing the already crippled HRE to finally shatter.

why is Byzantium so small? and who rules the Byzantine throne? Constantine?

That Iberian domination scenario is starting to strongly resemble an EU III game in disguise.

18th Century Byzantium? Ewwww.
Yeah, any references to a resurrected Roman Empire in the eighteenth century that don't include the words "Yekaterina", "Potemkin", and "Greek Project" need to die. In a fire.

ive never heard of the first two. what are those?

I presume Catherine the Great her advisor/army leader/diplomat Grigory Potemkin who had a famousbattleship named after him. I don't know what specifically Dachs is referring to, but they were involved in some Russo-Turkish Wars (Potemkin led a couple successful wars and negotiations).

Don't knwo the Greek Project, though

Yeah. The "Greek Project" was Potemkin's idea to resurrect the Byzantine Empire on the ruins of the Ottoman with Phanariots running it and a Russian prince - the would-be tsar Konstantin of the Decembrist Revolution - as Emperor. Nobody's entirely sure if the tsarina bought into it or not, but at least one military campaign during the war of 1768-72 - the cruise of Admiral Orlov's fleet in the Aegean and the raising of several Greek rebellions - was designed around the Project.

The entire West Germany/HRE/South Germany thing in the Iberia map is also making me cry.

linky has to do with Iceland's banking crisis a few years back. Yes that is an EU monster.

Even without Finland, Sweden still looks like a penis.

Finally completed - a map of the Eurasian War world at 0000Z 01JAN1932. I drew the borders on a Winkel Tripel map and (with Kraznaya) collected city data, while the excellent Symphony D. reprojected the map, redid the colors, actually added the cities, labels, relief, and bathymetry, and everything else.
