Altered Maps XII: Not to Scale

Pay attention now, and answer exactly the following question, please. If that was the situation of population distribution in 1947, why wouldn't it have worked?

And how would it have been worse than the inequitable partition made by the UN in '48?

Are you seriously asking that? The borders are indefensible, such a state would not have been economically viable, and it would have been split into several enclaves, all of which can be easily isolated and eventually annihilated. The Jews would basically have ended up into a slightly larger version of the Nazi concentration camps.

The original UN partition plan was bad enough, this is just pure in(s)anity (motivated by anti-Israel hatred no doubt). The borders which resulted from the War of Independence are the absolute minimum that's needed for Israel to exist. Ideally the whole mandate should be unified under one state, that's the sensible option.

I agree. I personally would have given them the region between the Jordan and the Mediterranean, but last I heard they were making good use of Neguev, so I ultimately agree with Winner.

So Israel would be in the position of the Palestinians? That's interesting, how about the borders Palestine needs to be defensible?

Yeah everything is motivated by anti-Israeli hated to you people.

Here's the original map, I was actually generous, giving Israel more land than they actually owned.

Wow! Are you seriously this blinkered? Can you seriously only see things from one point of view?

I suppose the answer must be yes.

Someone suggested that on IOT Chat... and then he suggested it be burnt to the ground. O wait no, that was me when it was suggested to put all gypsies and Jews in Madagascar.

Yes, but when someone bring it up, I suggested we could burn the island afterwards, so to get rid of that permanent source of problems.

Yes, a lot. Like, I mean, they are filthy infidels.

The "defensible borders" argument is silly. If Israel wants defensible borders, it should get out of the Levant.

They could have formed the Jewish state in Kansas and this wouldn't have been a problem.

Edit: Actually that might be too harsh of a punishment. They can have Queens and Long Island.

Made you a new avatar.

Bah, it is deeply flawed. Rainbow Dash is a female, and thus unable to grow such amount of facial hair.
