I'm not quite sure what happened to Denmark and the Black Sea though...

Crimea has been replaced by Nova Scotia, Denmark with Cape York Peninsula.

The first one is Europe only with certain landmasses replaced with others from around the globe. Like India and Sri Lanka have replaced Norway, Sweden, and Finland. Antartica replaces Africa. New Zealand replaces the UK. Etc. I'm not quite sure what happened to Denmark and the Black Sea though...

No clue on the second one.

The second map looks like if someone squeezed the mediterranean sea into Europe.

The second map is really cool and would be great for a fantasy world.
We'd just have to do something about South France and Italy.
Possibly the creepiest kiss I've ever seen.

Does physically separating the Scotland-substitute and England-substitute qualify this map as utopian fiction?

I don't know, TF, man, but it might very well be the case. In the second map (Northern) Ireland is actually joined to the Greater British landmass.

In the first map, Great Britain is New Zealand, Ireland Hawaii, Italy is Florida, Sardinia is la Hispaniola, North Africa is Australia, Scandinavia is India, the Great Lakes are in Poland, Grecce has suffered mitosis, Spain has grown a toupee a la Trump and the pyrenees have sunk.

I would say it is a little crazy map.
