Thanks to you guys here - this thread, along with the Poly ones, are among the most fun stuff I've read online :)

im glad to amuse you, solver ;)

and to you all... BRAVO!

I didn't see it until this morning, which was maybe a little of the problem, but even then I was still convinced it had to be a joke. It was a really bad PR release if it wasn't (don't mention you're gonna start charging fees the same time you're gonna merge!). And the last line of the PR, like many good jokes, hinted further: "Why not now?" Now of course being April 1st.

All the more credit to you guys (Thunderfall and all the rest) that even though I'd already concluded it must be a joke, you STILL sucked me in when I saw you had created the civjunction web site. Holy Cow, you guys went to some length! Good job, you even got some skeptics like me with that one!

On a fine line between unquestioned loyalty and full-scale rebellion? ;)

Sometimes you need to rebel to remain fiercely loyal.

A Note to all perpetrators in this act:

NEVER PLAY TRICKS ON PARANOID MINDS

Credibility knows not April Fools.

Here is a question for TF: How do you plan on topping this next year? You've set a standard, and now we expect you to exceed that standard. :p

No we don't!!!!!

AFAIK CFC has no history of site April 1st jokes. Frankly I think this year was the first.

Why do we need to top it next year ?? It's been fun this one time, it doesn't have to become a tradition. :mischief:

It was fun :goodjob: - this thing generated so many fun threads, great job. :bounce:

Side note: as i was reading through this thread i saw pages appearing every few minutes.

I couldn't agree more. It's been two fun days worth of reading, plus some fun time following the planning.
