Well to be fair, being loud DOES help. But rather in the figurative sense than in the sense of actual shouting.
Exactly- he's attempting to communicate with conservatives in terms they understand. What could be more civil? What is "shouting right in someone's face" if not implied threat of violence? It is a surrender of logic and reason in favor of brute force.
"Stop the violence and return right to your armchairs!"More seriously, politics is by its nature a violent sphere of activity. Governance is an act of violence. Voting is an act of violence. At the risk of sounding cynical, it's no tremendous surprise that an echo of these qualities should find their way into the discourse; one could even argue that it would be an act of hypocrisy do deny them. You don't like violence, develop a critique of politics as such. Allus ultra-left weirdosthe cool kids are doing it.
it's just a mite easier to make jokes .
So you are saying collectivism trumps individual effort? Stop making excuses and pull yourself up by yourIt's no secret and certainly no surprise that the leftists on this forum very much enjoy a "safety by numbers" strategy. Any amount of horse manure can spill from their mouths and, being so buddied up as they are, no one would dare call out their fallacies. Those on the right, however, do not enjoy this luxury and are open to much more abuse and put downs.

Nope, there were only lefties around.Oh, good grief. Haven't you been hugged enough today?
the right wingers on this forum seem to be out to drive left wingers into a feeling of guilt and shame by constanty complaining about how bad they treat them.
is all this whining part of a great masterplan?
are right wingers manipulative bastards who want to drive us all to suicide?

Actually, the Republicans polarized politics back in the 90s when Clinton was elected. And they further polarized it under GWB. Obama has actually tried to be conciliatory and bipartisan ever since taking office. He was a fool for doing so seeing how the Republicans have reacted.I'd say the whining from the left makes the right look like rank amateurs.
See how Obama has polarized all of us? Can't we just...just..just get along?
I'm not offended. I just think it's a ridiculous "pity post" which he should have been embarrassed to write.

And your comment about being an amateur compared to others in whining is simply precious. You and the rest of the Fox News watchers have elevated it to an art form given how you all whine in unison.
I'd say the whining from the left ...
