Ares' little color conversion workshop

It's very easy.

The hint is a picture of a bee. So obviously you mean this character

Mayasurprise.gif

who is called Maya the bee.

So you will make a what if recoloring of units as mayan units!

No, I guess Maja wasn't used in the armies of Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Republic of China, Colombia, Cuba, Ecuador, El Salvador, France, Greece, India, Indonesia, Italy, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Paraguay, the Philippines, Portugal, Turkey, UK, Uruguay, USA, USSR, Venezuela and Yugoslavia.

@ Oz :beer:

Okay, it's not about the bee. It's about the honey.

One of the best known Light Tanks, the M3 Stuart. Called "Honey" by the Brits.

Four new Stuarts posted, see page one.

Once again thanks to Wyrm, the creator of the original unit.

This should beef up most of your favourite civ nations' Light tank arsenal. ;)

Hope this is more useful than Maja the Bee, at least for civ. ;)

@Steph: Do you have light tanks in your mod?

Btw, I made the M3 Stuart for Turkey not based on any pictures (because I found none) but to fit Wyrm's other excellent Turkish WW2 units.

If anybody of you has some suggestions for new conversions (Steph, I haven't forgotten about you), feel free to tell. I make these units basically to fill the gaps in my own personal mod, but it's always nice to know that at least a few people care. ;)

Not answering doesn't mean carelessnes, your color conversions are highly useful. Out of my head I think of a couple conversions, but that involves Wyrm's WWII air units, not vehicles.

Wrong tank.. That's the M5 Stuart. I know it gets confusing because the US Army called all it's light tanks Stuart. Btw.. I'm fairly certain I also did the M5.

@Wyrm: Correct, pic replaced. I guess I'll do some conversions of your excellent M5 as well, then. I found one pic of one M5 in Indian colors.

@EJ: Sure, why not.

@all: Thanks for your comments!

ok :) keep in mind that i have no real preferences...and that each of the following are simply based off of the existing gfx. also, i don't know of exact camo or paint schemes although i'd imagine that there'd be applicable ones out there somewhere:

Chinese and/or N Korean T34/85
Type 58 (chicom t34)
Type 59 (chicom t54)
East Asian M24 & M41
S American M41
Euro or German M47 and M48

WIP: Chinese tanks. I have removed the stripes from the T-34, so you can use them for China and North Korea, the camo is quite similar.

About the AH-64: Why do you need a desert version, for Israel? Egypt uses black Apaches.
