I don't find Lassies claim very believable tbh, and if someone did get roleblocked I can imagine that it could well have been Lassie.

I do find your reasoning to be very fishy, why not Cuth or Sips - that would be tightening the Wagon and you may well get enough support for a completing lynch, as it is your vote seems factually correct but pretty useless, unless of course it's your intention to widen the field and spread the votes.

I can get behind a Lassie lynch very easily, but for now Vote:Al Sipscar

I never said the vote was tight, just that I'd like to see it tight. If I wanted to widen the field I'd just vote Lassie and be done with it ala GoldenKnight.

Considering how many complaints Pizza has gotten for similar roles in games he's hosted before, and complaints about similar roles he's seen in games he's played, I find it really unlikely that he gave you such a role. I'd actually be upset with him if he did, he knows how much players hate it when someone survives a lynch.

And it makes no sense for a townie to have that ability.

I don't really like the claim either. It really does sound more like a mafia ability than a town one.

Also, it would had been great if Zack didn't shoot down my role claim with his ATPG knowledge, so we could have had better reactions to it than this.

I'm vanilla town and wanted to see if I could draw a NK from scum, in case I didn't get lynched today(which would also depend a little upon if people would believe me - but seems it won't be the case, while people even mentioning it as a scum role(which I disagree with, both based on logic of how lame it would be to lynch a scum twice in a game with no town vigs, while it's also a role I have had as town in another game)).

There's already a good bunch of votes on me - I'm currently reading the thread from start to end, so would appreciate if people didn't hammer, so I can still give my opinion on who the lasts scums are(and if you think I'm scum, you should still let me post this, so you can use it for spew - too bad I'm town though)

Why claim it? In the game I had the role as town, people agreed that it had to be a town role and didn't even want to test if by lynching me once - instead I got NK'ed by scum, because they knew they couldn't get me lynched(because they believed my claim, knowing I was town).

Just doesn't work this way in this game, when ATPG apparently aren't a mod who would use such a role - while people here also seem to believe it's more likely a scum role than town.

Also, I'd like to see Kenni get to action - it wasn't a too convincing start after he subbed in for Newyn, having 5 posts where only one is actual a game thought(which is something about Glossy that I didn't get the point of). I recall I found him town on D1 based on his first posts being straight to the point of giving reads and not fluffing along with the rest. So a little worried about that not being the case here - but lets see if he brings anything to the table

This explanation of the role makes some sense, but especially since the town has no vigilantes, then the only way to kill anyone is through lynch. This role forces town to waste this essential power twice on a mafia. However, even if it is town role for some reason then it still does work against town because at best town doesn't lynch you or you are night killed. At worst, mafia can leave you alone and let suspicion on you build by itself. It is therefore in my opinion not very likely to be a town role, because without some way to deal with that it is more likely to work against than with town.

I'm just making sure because I don't remember Newyn/Kennigit v2.0 being such on D1. You're not getting the two Kennigits confused? This iteration is both Newyn and today's Kennigit. If I recall, Newn's D1 didn't give me any such impressions.

A lame role in all alignments - and in hindsight, I should probably had thought Pizza wouldn't be the type of mod to use such a role

Also, I had plans of using that clip for my role claim, the barbarian brothers - my avatar is called "barbarianism" (is a feature from Civilization games - you can check the name in the avatar name) - not that it really clears me, but I think it's worth to mention, for a fun detail at least

Murska's been defending Lassie all game in some capacity, so I'd like to see how the rest of the player base reacts in a tight vote.

Assuming you're telling the truth and are townie, why would the scum ever kill you? You've been lynchbait for 3 days, you're exactly the sort of player the scum love to have alive to keep the heat off them.

This is actually much funnier than lassie realizes because my "game thought(which is something about Glossy that I [Lassie] didn't get the point of)" was me complaining about someone surviving a lynch. Of course, I missed glossysushi as just being mod-silenced.


I did keep tabs on the thread while I was dead, and I am a little bit hesitant to just tack on to lassie here. I personally consistently believe that if townies are just truthful it is by far more helpful, even if it makes a pinch. Arakhor died for some reason believing someone else would probably recognize he was the "dice roller" and effectively soft-claimed in the thread (jarrema was probably killed because of this--he said he knew arakhor's role for no reason), but only told all us vanilla townies he had something he couldn't share that ma not work and may not be proven, etc


so lassie you saying you are "lucky guy" when we know power roll was "dice roller" seems like some weird PIS silly metagamey statement, rather than just saying "I am vanilla townie"

but the hesitance is it is more likely for a town to make a silly lie than a scum, for no real reason
