Aspiring Rapper's MAFIA- Game Thread

I will vote: Mat93 for making a weak case on somebody and then pretending they never responded, while continuing to use the same case.

Jarrema spew:

Scum leans/Votes
Visor - changed to Town read
Glossysushi
Lassie
Arakhor (EoD1)
Sooh (EoD2)

Town reads:
Visor
Choxorn
Takhisis
Zack

Spoiler :

I will comment only on those that I have any feeling of

Spoiler :
Anyway, I figure my desire to skate along this game needs to be thrown in the trash as for some strange reason I am the only person not allowed to take a game off.

as for me, you can. But why in a way of over-posting? Just become lest active, if you have to :mischief:

Spoiler :
Takhisis - Feels like town takhisis to me.

agreed. I think so too.

Spoiler :
Choxorn - Could go both ways. Certainly hiding in the background a bit and not exactly leading discussion, but thats not how he plays anyway. Just a tone read on him.

I read him as town, not contributing to overall chaos

Spoiler :
Jarrema: Would always love to get rid of me early if he was scum, but often believes his scum reads on me a lot. Could go either way, need a bit more to see where he's at. Potentially minor town lean for now. Always votes me D1.

but sometimes I change from you, and this time I deliberately voted for you second time, to indicate it is more than my usual day 1 vote.
And I agree that when I am scum I want to get rid of you. But I want to remind you, that last time I was mafia, I purposefuly discouraged my team mate from killing you night 1 (as not to get too much attention after killing you so early)

Spoiler :
Zack: Could swing either way. Not really much to say here, he's certainly low impact and his mafia games generally tend that way, but he also doesn't seem to care about giving reads, so who knows. Neutral for now, until I see more.

I see him writing quite agressively. I think it is town sign for him.
Spoiler :

Sooh - This is a minor one, but Sooh's been quite quiet despite being around, I would like to see more from her and what she thinks, just a gut read on this one.

agree. OTOH, I dont know Sooh play style at all

after reading analyses made by others, my convintion about Visor being scum lessens more and more.

I will move my vote to another high poster. Especially because it seems he gives less than Visor (i.e. more fluff, less actual content). Vote: Glossysushi

good night folks. I wonder how many pages I will have to skim at morning.

if she turns to be scum, you are dead already :)

Exactly what my thoughts would be if I was better mafia player (I just have non-fully-verbalized thoughts going along this lines).
I was not so sure to do it before, but I think that lynching Sushi or Lassie will give us important info. Given higher possibility that Lassie is scum, I will vote: Lassie.

good joke :)

TBH, I dont think he was offensive. He always is a little... rough. Welcome to the Zack's world.
(I also think it is weak town tell for him)

unvote; vote: Arakhor

I now dont like voting for Visor.

vote: Sooh. I dont know what to think about you

Cass - why as a villager did you feel the need to be around at days end? you posted that it 5am and you'd be setting an alarm to wake up in a couple of hours so you could be online at EoD. This seems excessive for a villager at these early days.

Jarrema is still listed as active player.
EoDs are effectively compulsory at DM (my homesite) and IMO generally for reasons of CFD etc. I've only missed one that I can recall, ever, and that was because I was at an appointment.
Do you have an issue with anything I did/said at the time/else-wise other than be around?

Have more reading to do, including Lassie and Cuth ISO but for now, Legato

Would like to see more from him and Al Sips before the EoD.

Because?

If you have something to claim just out with it.

Because I can use the reactions, I have a clue of something that can be useful to analyze them.

And well, that was my claim - but if you'd like it more official and less transparent:
My role is Lucky Guy - I survive first lynch attempt at me, should I be lynched. I claimed vanilla when under pressure on D1, to make myself uninteresting for the scums to peek, if they have a rolecop, or NK. Since the only realistic way for them to get me out, is through NK'ing me.

Also, I had plans of using that clip for my role claim, the barbarian brothers - my avatar is called "barbarianism" (is a feature from Civilization games - you can check the name in the avatar name) - not that it really clears me, but I think it's worth to mention, for a fun detail at least :D

vote: Murska

While I'd pile on Lassie now due to his survive a lynch claim (that's not exactly a townie ability), I think we should at least get one additional wagon rolling to keep things interesting. Day two was a Visor wipeout that didn't add much in the way of genuine reactions. Murska's been defending Lassie all game in some capacity, so I'd like to see how the rest of the player base reacts in a tight vote.

Considering how many complaints Pizza has gotten for similar roles in games he's hosted before, and complaints about similar roles he's seen in games he's played, I find it really unlikely that he gave you such a role. I'd actually be upset with him if he did, he knows how much players hate it when someone survives a lynch.

And it makes no sense for a townie to have that ability.

Like, I know this is a really metagamey argument, but I've had personal conversations with ATPG in the past where he actually vowed not to include roles with forms of lynch immunity in games he hosted because of their unpopularity. So either Lassie or Pizza is lying (or he forgot about it, in fairness that conversation was years ago).

Even if you do actually have that role, I will grumble and complain about it endlessly, but it won't stop me from voting you again, as I fail to see how it's in any way a town power.

I don't find Lassies claim very believable tbh, and if someone did get roleblocked I can imagine that it could well have been Lassie.

vote: Murska

The vote is not tight Backwards, if anything you have made it looser by voting Murska
Lassie (6)
Cuth (2)
Al Sips (2)
Legato (1)
Mat93 (1)
Murska (1)

I do find your reasoning to be very fishy, why not Cuth or Sips - that would be tightening the Wagon and you may well get enough support for a completing lynch, as it is your vote seems factually correct but pretty useless, unless of course it's your intention to widen the field and spread the votes.

I can get behind a Lassie lynch very easily, but for now Vote:Al Sipscar

I don't really like the claim either. It really does sound more like a mafia ability than a town one.

Is the hammer rule still a thing? I think the Lassie wagon is already much bigger than any of its competitors.

Unvote; Vote: Lassie

Does no one care that there was only one kill last night? Was someone blocked?

I care, but don't know anything about it soz.

Lassie or Cuth would be OK with me today, but I will actually take BL’s lead and vote: Murska. Can’t say I have been able to keep up all that well, but I am back from my trip to Dublin and things seem to have calmed down some in the game. I should be better able to keep up from here on out.

Does no one care that there was only one kill last night? Was someone blocked?

This is certainly an interesting development, and it would be good to know if someone was blocked, but it would be hard to know without outing the blocker.

...you do know that we can't test the claim, right? either he's VT or scum

Ehhh. A Town ability to survive a lynch? Really?

I don't think so. That's a scum role.

Okay, my main reasons for defending Lassie have been that he felt towny in pushing a strong view on various people being scum, and a number of the arguments were okay. I didn't feel any avoidance of getting into the thick of the scumhunting. On a more personal level, he's been suspicious of me mainly because of my first post, which I specifically crafted for a purpose and thus should look scummy to people who don't understand it.

The claim, however, feels really strange game-mechanics -wise.
