At Least 120 Dead in Paris Attacks

-> Between 60-100 people were apparently attending the concert

Those are just the hostages/deaths. The American rock band Eagles of Death Metal were playing a sold-out concert to about 1500 guests at the Bataclan at the time.

This seems to be the original video from the fire in Jungle (posted an hour ago): https://www.facebook.com/479803612168266/videos/543268015821825/

Can anyone translate what is being said?
"Real-time from (some name of some place), the Calais inhabitant are angry. Fire roam through the Jungle (that's the nickname of the illegal migrants camp in Calais)"

It's pretty unclear if the anger is due to the fire or the reason of the fire though.

On which side though? Just dropping more bombs together with Obama? Or Putin? Or helping Assad? The Kurds can't do all the groundwork by themselves... And what happens afterwards? Who'll be holding the ground when the fighting is over?

This is going to be hard.
The US and others used to keep naval bases all over the world, don't they have some troops in Korea? Simply reassign them around. Maybe share some responsibility with China or Russia, even if those countries will, of course, claim such locations as within their sphere of influence.

Because those countries are already run by Islamists and their elites helped fund ISIL.
Help. Present tense. Isn't it weird that Saudi Arabia is focusing on Houthi rebels in Yemen instead of on the Iraq/Syria front?

Those were the initial figures for attending people given in the live stream. These were obviously way too low, now that we have at least 100 confirmed dead in the concert hall alone (security sources claim at least 140+ dead in total).

My bet is just some more bomber runs, to keep the strong man appearance without too much cost.
Maybe either an abandon of the Syrian rebels or, on the opposite, a harder stand-up to Putin to stop the attack on the moderate and only focus on true ISIS forces. No idea here.

I'm not yet sure it will bring a lot more racism on the homefront, or on the opposite more solidarity like after Charlie Hebdo. But one thing I would bet on, is that the migrant crisis might actually get to a resolution pretty soon, though in a pretty ugly way.

If attackers operating in ones or twos can cause so much damage at US university campuses, why not elsewhere?
Well the thing making it harder is that guns tend to be pretty rare and illegal in France. Though of course it doesn't stop attackers, but they need to be more organized if they plan to do something big like that and not just take a big gamble.

Saudi Arabia is already aiding various rebel/terrorist factions in both of those regions.

I am so sorry, old friends.

Rough translation: Belgian Station "RTBF Info" reports that ISIS has taken responsibility for the terror attacks. According to them ISIS has alsoissued a warning(?) against Rome, London and Washington.

Can't find further confirmation other than that one source.

It was 40 dead twenty minutes ago. Jesus.

#BREAKING Paris Dep Mayor tells CNN 118 dead in #Bataclan concert hall, City Hall offical tells Reut 40 dead in other locs. Total 158 dead.

Jesus christ

Radio here: at the Bataclan, the kidnappers (8?) threw grenades at their hostages, killing ~100, as soon as the police entered.

Yes, firearms are rarer in France than in the US, but it's so easy to smuggle stuff in there… and how many did they really need? It's not as if there were a hudnred gunmen. Keep a few guns here and there, old car trunks, disassembled in toolboxes (no x-ray gets them if mixed with wrenches and ratchets), boom, you have them.
Saudi Arabia is already aiding various rebel/terrorist factions in both of those regions.
And the U.S. sells aircraft to them… :ack:

Islamic State supporters have taken to Twitter to gloat about the coordinated attacks on Paris Friday night. Supporters of the terror group are using the hashtag #ParisBurns to celebrate the terrible attacks in several locations across the French capital.

Thankfully most people on Twitter are praying and not gloating. Top 100 trending hashtags according to hashtags.org

France, Germany, Britain, Italy, Belgium, United States, Russia

Someone is going to find a away to drag Austria and Poland into this.

The European far right, I'd think, understands that they have nothing to win with this kind of violence. Unless it's by Muslims. I'd imagine some of them are filled with joy at the moment because this furthers their agenda.

If they'd do an attack, I'd guess it was more targeted at the immigrants.

Unless they could pull off a false flag operation. Conducting an attack that looks like it was done by immigrants would be certainly be effective. But it would be quite hard to accomplish, so I doubt that this is the case.
