Here's my latest unit - a modern Bedouin with an AK-47. Should work as well for a Mujahideen or to replace the Guerilla. Guerilla sounds work well for him incidentally, although if someone could make a death sound, that would be appreciated.

The crouching firing is being billed as the "Defend" flic, but it loops, so use it for a main attack if you wish. Thanks to Kinboat for the original model (Aiel) and Wyrm for the AK-47.:)

What a nice job you've done on this unit. Your flair for animation is remarkable.
The "Defend" is great. I believe you are the first to release a unit with this animation.
But, my favorite is the death. Going down guns blazing.
And, on a general note your animations are much more fluid now. And, the timing is very good.

How is it that whenever I think to myself, "Hey, the End of the World scenario could really use a unit like this...." Within a week you create it?:crazyeye:

Thanks for the nice comments and I'm glad a lot of folks can use him.

Yes, HT made the first "Defend" AFAIK, but it's a cool idea, so I jumped on the bandwagon.

I like how the "camo" pattern turned out at civ scale. I'm not sure if it's camo as such, or dust and dirt from the desert, but the colors seem to work pretty well.

Lovin it- Modern times are getting more and more interesting to mod with your newly added infantry units :)

Is it possible to make this same one without the beard and helmet (Egypt)?
