All greats, no question, but Terminator is easily the greatest of the greats. Also WOO for having seen all of them at release in the theatres!

If by 'Predator' you mean Arnold in it, then i suppose it is his best film (in my view). But i still would vote for the first Robocop, cause that actually was not just syfy or pop crap :)

"A minor glitch?!?" :)

(btw, obviously in the first Terminator Arnold is not the 'hero').

Daw, Terminator. My favorite romance movie.

Spoiler :

Die Hard is the brilliant work of a genius, and the greatest Christmas film ever made. One day when I am a dad, I will watch it with my children on Christmas.

Big Trouble in Little China. Kurt Russell forever.

Rambo 3 on delicious, tragic irony alone.

Commando was a good one.

Out of the ones listed I prefer Die Hard. Predator gets to be runner up, and I hate putting Terminator 3rd, but Terminator 2 was far superior and that's the one I will always love. The original is great, but Die Hard is an almost perfect action movie, and Predator has very entertaining action sequences and great suspense. I was never a big fan of Robocop.

Since Terminator 2 didn't come out till 1991, I'm going with Die Hard.

I voted Predator out of franchise loyalty, but if I'm honest Die Hard is probably more deserving.

I don't think that Terminator deserves the top spot, though. It's good, but it's only so good: Terminator 2 is the great film, and I think people have a habit of projecting their (entirely right-minded) love of T2 back onto the original.

Exactly my feelings. Terminator 1 was solid but nothing compared to real 80s classics; the 2nd is phenomenal but came out in 1991 so it doesn't count.

I far prefer the original to the 2nd. I mean the 2nd was creepy in a techie sort of way, but the first terminators' villain was just so visceral, so primal scary with almost none of the tech fluff needed. I mean, it's just a relentless predator that doesn't do anything sneaky, is faster than you, and you can't kill it. Plus the only thing protecting the protagonist isn't a super death machine too, it's just some schmuck. And I'm not kidding about the love angle. It's one of my favorites out of any movie.
