Why is there zero media outrage about this? I thought black lives mattered? I understand that killing babies is legal under particular circumstances but so what? A majority of these shootings are also deemed justifiable and people still riot over them. The officer in Ferguson wasn't even indicted. It's just a gigantic double standard.

If we can label all the cops white supremacist racists why does planned parenthood get let off the hook? Margaret Sanger was a proponent of eugenics and controlling the population of blacks and other minorities. Planned parenthood is a racist organization with racist roots. An overwhelming majority of abortions are performed on minorities. Why is no one outraged over that?

And on top of this there's footage out now of planned parenthood's top medical supervisor Deborah Nucatola talking about very graphic methods of performing abortions in order to "donate" their body parts intact for research. I use the word donate in quotes because their are some questions about whether the fees they charge for the parts are for profit or merely to cover expenses of obtaining said parts. Some of her methods sound akin to partial birth abortions which is illegal and considered murder. So planned parenthood is possibly murdering thousands of minority children to use their bodies so big pharma corporate interests can profit. Yet you won't see that headline on CNN in a million years. White doctors aborting minority babies so white corporations can perform research on them.

You want to compare abortions with death by police ? Why not look at the leading cause of death in America which is Heart disease killing half a million per year and complain about lack of media coverage and media reporting ?

Human life is a continuum---sperm and eggs are also alive, and represent potential human beings, but virtually all sperm and eggs are wasted. Also, two-thirds of human conceptions are spontaneously aborted by nature.

The fetus should have rights under the law.

If fetal rights were enshrined in law, women's bodies, rights, and health would be subordinated to the protection of embryos. The legal consequences of such a law would be catastrophic

It’s not often that a business-lunch conversation becomes a viral YouTube video. But then, it’s not often that a top Planned Parenthood official is recorded discussing, over a leisurely lunch of salad and red wine, the business of selling fetal organs harvested from aborted babies.

She is alert to market demand — “I’d say a lot of people want liver,” she tells her lunch companions — and understands how to carry out an abortion to maximize the quality of the organs that can be supplied to buyers afterward.

The Campaign of Deception Against Planned Parenthood

A hidden-camera video released last week purported to show that Planned Parenthood illegally sells tissue from aborted fetuses. It shows nothing of the sort. But it is the latest in a series of unrelenting attacks on Planned Parenthood, which offers health care services to millions of people every year.

The nine-minute video clip released by the Center for Medical Progress, an outfit apparently created in 2013, invites viewers to “Hold Planned Parenthood accountable for their illegal sale of baby parts.” In it, Dr. Deborah Nucatola, Planned Parenthood’s senior director of medical services, is seen discussing the collection of fetal tissue

The full video of the lunch meeting, over two hours long and released by the Center for Medical Progress after complaints by Planned Parenthood, shows something very different from what these critics claim. Clearly, the shorter version was edited to eliminate statements by Dr. Nucatola explaining that Planned Parenthood does not profit from tissue donation, which requires the clear consent of the patient. Planned Parenthood affiliates only accept money — between $30 and $100 per specimen, according to Dr. Nucatola

Biomax offered a Planned Parenthood affiliate $1,600 for a fetal liver and thymus, presumably to trap the affiliate in the act of accepting a high payment for fetal tissue. The affiliate declined.

The Center for Medical Progress — which managed to get tax-exempt status in 2013 as a biomedicine charity, according to a report by The Huffington Post — appears to have done little beyond producing the undercover video.

Researchers use fetal tissue to study and develop treatments for diseases and conditions like H.I.V., hepatitis, congenital heart defects, retinal degeneration and Parkinson’s. Last year, the National Institutes of Health gave $76 million in grants for fetal tissue research. Planned Parenthood is certainly not the only collector of fetal tissue — clinics associated with universities also supply tissue for research.

The Center for Medical Progress video campaign is a dishonest attempt to make legal, voluntary and potentially lifesaving tissue donations appear nefarious and illegal. Lawmakers responding by promoting their own anti-choice agenda are rewarding deception and putting women’s health and their constitutionally protected rights at risk.

I've never seen one except on TV. Most neighborhoods in Red Deer have street corners that contain churches, convenience stores, gas stations, strip malls, or some kind of restaurant. For abortions, try the hospital, of which we have only one.
