Bug Reports

grrr I knew you would say something like that :D

I will try some more new games soon and see if it still goes poop..

I hope it isn't my col. installation going stupid again.. I have no idea why it would..

Yeah, I just created a new mod folder, placed in the Mod files from Dropbox, then added the Sound and Art.FPK files and the game loaded and I took a few turns, so it seems to be working correctly. :):)

Ok, seems to be working this game, which is annoying as I really liked my starting position in that game :

Do you get a CTD when you try to go back to the main menu or is that just me?

I discovered a quirk, the shrine in the moastery has the pop window of the market, by that I mean when you mouse over it it shows the market place prices.

Also my expert ore miner does not seem to expertly mine ore... I have an alluvian mine, with 5 ore, but my expert still only produces 5 ore. In the town of Vienna.
It's really annoying cvause it is my only spot of ore and I jsut set up an entire mining industry around it :D

Yeah, the shrine takes the market place slot, they both share the same specialbuildingtype, so will need to adjust that somehow.

Check if any of your others Experts are gaining their bonuses, I made changes so that Expert Buchers won't gain bonuses as farmer or fisherman, and vs versa but I may have messed something else up.

Ah ok, I will keep checking.

I think my expert blacksmith was ok, he was producing 6 tools.. if I remember right. So far he and the miner are the only ones I have been able to get in position.

Maybe it is outwside resources, I have a vine dresser I will check.

Yep it is definately outside resources, grapes don't work either.

you killed the ground you son of a beach!!!

Ok, I fixed the issue. It was a simple true/false, should have said false instead of true. Swine copy and paste ;) I also fixed the Decree typo ;)

You can simply get the new dll file and the CIV4GameText_Inventor files from dropbox, and load your save.

I don't think I ever actually had a diplo screen appear?

I think someone declared peace with some one else, then there was the icon.

These are my auto saves, best I can do, sorry.

I always seem to get my errors just when things are getting interesting :D

Ok, in 1108 the Delayed Response was already there so that didn't help. In 1100 the bug never happened, so if you have a save at 1106 where the next turn the bug appears send that one. I am posting a new DLL with a FAssert that checks for isHuman for delayed responses. If what you say is true then it was put on a AI player and that shouldn't be so. If you get that FAssert please send the save where it pops. You should be able to go back till before that bug appeared and continue you game.

Again, I need a save where the bug appears on the next turn.

EDIT: Removed Attachment

Ok I have modified my auto save settings, so I should be able to get it next time.

Has something happened to the import/export system?

Normally I set it to 150 for things like armour and tools and weapons, so that it will keep 150 in place and then share the rest, but it seems to be taking them and not leaving the 150 like it is supposed to?

Hmm it may have fixed itself but I am not sure..

Ok, this goes back to the bug where some City plots are not assigned to a PlotGroup. We need to figure that out. Anyway, I put in a work around so you can found your monastery.

This may have to do with the city plot not being assigned an owner and that is why no plotgroup is assigned to it, as the CTD was caused because the city plot was not owned.

Right, it looks like it was once upon a time owned.. or something because you see all the cattle pens around it?

It was like there was a city that got captured burned and the ruins pillaged. I wonder if that left some kind of bizarre remnant in the code? Which is why it causes a bunch of ownership/plotgroup freakouts?

That worked :)

Not seen this one before, seemed to happen when I moused over one of the yields in top right city screen culture or some such.

Got this when collecting a vassal demand

Another thing I just noticed, is when lux food is depleted from a tile, the hides remain on the tile but can't be collected. but when hides run out you can still collect lux. food

I think also you can only collect a vassal gift from 1 town and then it locks it for all vassals for however long it is.

Hmm, I'll have to check the lux/hides code then. Yeah, I think the Vassal Gift is tied to the Player, it should be per city probably aye?

That would be the logical way, as every town is like a vassal lord, and each would be presenting there own tribute.

This has definately been my best vassal game so far, I have something like 6 vassals :D

I am getting about 300 tax a turn which is like 12 pop and I still have 2 more to put tax collectors on. :)
