Capto Iugulum: Building the 20th Century

fixed my proposal for Africa.

Look at what happens when you go to a Robotics Competition. Two new promising NES's pop up on the day you leave and fill up nearly before you get back with your gold medal.

This NES is far from new. I've been Brazil for months.

I joined late and I've been Poland for months. I think the game started last summer, this is just phase 2.

Seeing as our arbitrations so far have been so successful, we thought we might as well have a go at the rest of the world, to try and provide compromise solutions for Dutch Kabende, Western Africa, Kamchatka, and the Pacific. We have tried to reconcile everybody's claims in the most reasonable fashion we could. What does everyone think about this proposal?

Poland agrees to this map of Africa.

For no reason whatsoever, we claim the four islands to the south of Africa that may or may not have been discovered yet.

ooc: I can't help but wonder why LoE and Milarqui don't get contiguous borders (tiny strip style) between their massive area and the rest of their considerable holdings.

OOC: I don't mind swapping bits of desert if Milarqui likes, but I doubt there's much point; trade between provinces is going to happen by sea anyway, and it doesn't make any sense at all in LoE's case to have a sliver of land as you suggest.

Yeah, this is the NPC Seal of Approval for the Paris-Burgundy plans.

I was thinking along the lines of a really awesome railroad.

Scandinavia confirms Paris-Burgundy's proposal.

Hey, long time lurker here. I saw on the first page that Austria was available, and I was wondering if I could take it.

@ m.t.cicero: Unfortunately, TheLizardKing has claimed Austria for now. There are other options available, though I'd be hard pressed to make a recommendation until the actual stats emerge from the BT for the NES. Off the top of my head though, I'd recommend something in South America if you're a nation builder type, and something in Europe if you like wars.

@bestshot9: Welcome back, but leave again, and ninja assassins will track you down. But in a good way!

In that case, could I possibly take Flanders?

Sure, you're more than welcome to jump in with them. Stay tuned for BT step 2 to send in orders to set up for the next phase of the NES.

New Spain, as an impartial mediator, suggests that as a solution to the conflict regarding New Britain and Russia's demand for a warm-water port, that New Britain go to Britain, while Russia be granted a Pacific island or set of pacific islands to serve as a year round pacific port.

Presumably, to make it an even trade, this would be one of the Pacific islands that Britain has claimed in the Paris-Burgundian map of the pacific.

I'll take Argentina
