A Letter From Robert Wallace to The World
To Whom It May Concern
It has become obvious that over the last couple weeks that the open wounds in the former United States must be mended. The negros in open rebellion are a thousand times greater threat to the American nation then the liberal government of the Second Union. The American nation was founded on principals that it has drifted away from over the last eighty years. If the American Republic is to survive, it must come through negotiation and compromise instead of combat. Though my administration has had it's disagreements with the Washington government in how the future should be shaped for the Union, I have come to a realization that the future for America lies with democracy. The Scott Era is dead, and it is time to move forward.
From this point on, the Denver Government recognizes the legitimacy of the Washington government to rule over the entirety of the former United States, and shall support it in it's current fight against the negro proletarian. We formally recognize ourselves solely as the Allied Territories of America. Officials from my administration are currently meeting with diplomats from the United States to discuss a timetable for a peaceful and gradual integration. The Allied Territories also completely withdraws from the Treaty of Jefferson, and consequently the Pacific Concord.
General Robert Wallace of the Allied Territories of America
Vinland would advise the various Negro Proletarist Republics to seek a peaceful solution with the United States of America. While we sympathize with your struggle, we do not believe that any long term solutions in your region will come from continued fighting.TO: Vinland
FROM: Appalachia, Mississippi, Tennessee Proletarist Republics
We similarly petition for recognition, along similar terms to the Jacksonia, Aztlan, and Florida republics.
Vinland applaud's General Wallace's decision, and feels relief that, in spite of great tensions between our governments, peace has been maintained.A Letter From Robert Wallace to The World
