The mother walked into the porch and nearly fainted. "Why are you wearing a uniform?"
"I wanted to kill French ma and our government is too scared to join the fight for democracy so I volunteered to join the British army." he smiled at his mother.
"and here I was knowing that our family was going to stay unharmed when surrounded by war. Then you walk in with some other country's uniform on... Go, fight your war if that is what you truly want to do. Only know this, there will be no coming back until their war is done."
"Bye mom, I'm hitching the next civilian transport over to Britain. I'll be gone in 3 hours."
He ran out the door with his stuff leaving a crying mother behind.

While we still be fighting alongside the Spanish in the Arabian theater due to a common enemy predating this current world wide conflict, we are declaring Neutrality in the wider conflict.
we see both sided being at fault for the conflict, brought out by their intractability and inability to compromise on both sides
that being said, we will be continuing our war with Arabia. they have proven intractable and incapable of reigning in their more radical elements. they have slaughtered Persian citizens who only sought to trade with them, and several of their own citizens who were merely friendly to them. they have actively damaged Islamic holy sites in the holy land and blamed in on the Spanish, merely to inflame tensions in their area. Proof of which I have sitting on my desk right now. They have repeatedly sought and bent Islam to be merely a tool to them to get what they want.
This is why we declared war upon them. this is why we will continue to fight until they are defeated, or we are. we will not stand by while they slaughter innocents for greed, and seek to lay low every value of freedom.
We ask the nations of the world to please condemn Arabia for their ruthless and uncivilized tactics. Or at least see that this conflict is not part of the greater war raging across the world, and stand neutral to it lake we are to the great war. We will respect all trade concessions they made for their area before this way, should we win. we will make every effort to see that any property you hold within their borders is returned to you after the war, or is at least compensated for.

This war is no longer merely about the funding of a nationalistic printing press that printed articles that sowed subversion in the Papal States (and indeed in all other independent Italian States). After our declaration Naples showed their true colours and directly supported unification and the end of our sovereign existence in their public statements. (Although of course like a serpent they say they only mean "co-operation" but as Sardinia says, they will say anything to justify their position).
As such it is totally impossible for the Papal States or any right thinking state to refrain from eliminating the Neapolitan menace. Naples is clearly a threat to the sovereign interests of all italian states, and like the serpent it is, the head must be cut off before it can rise up and strike when we are not awares.

Look on the front page: I believe China has a player and I know Peru does, but Bulgaria might be NPC.
Yes I'm looking at the front page and was before I posted.
I know that the Papal states have gone and I believe Milan has as well even though they are listed as free. The three countries I listed are all listed as free as well but I know sign ups have advanced quickly recently so I thought to ask. Thank you for the information though, a shame about Peru but hopefully China is free, or Bulgaria.

And what give you the ability to determine our foreign policy? We have not, nor will we, move troops to assist the Spanish in this Great war. Our only conflict currently is with Arabia, which predates your deceleration of war against the Spanish by months. Our troop movements will be confined to the Arabian theater. you are free to declare war against us if you wish, and we will fight any troops you send to Middle east if you do. But It will be an act of aggression on your part, not us.

While Genoa will agree with the dethroning of the current King and Government, I will firmly stand behind the freedom of the people. Whether another king will be found, or a democracy or republic created, I will not allow the Papal states to annex the lands of Naples and Sicily into their realm.
