"What is the single most instructive lesson of the Irish Sea Debacle?"
"No naval force can successfully assault the British Isles without overwhelming numerical and mechanical superiority, thanks primarily to the geography of the Isles and the water surrounding them, and thanks as well to the continued naval supremacy of Great Britain and her allies."
"Correct. Now, what conclusion can be drawn from the attempt of the Continental Powers to support a naval invasion of Ireland with the European armada?"
"That capitalist wageslave autocrats can't swim."
"That is also correct! Excellent job, colleague Sturring."
"What can we learn from the ongoing war between Germany and the Franco-Burgundian Confederation? Other than the fact that Krauts and frogs will never stop killing each other, of course."
"The Rhine is and for the foreseeable future will continue to be the most geopolitically-important river in Europe?"
"Yes, what else?"
"There can never coexist peacefully, for any considerable period of time, a multitude of powers sharing borders on the continent?"
"That is also true. Continue."
"Capitalist wageslave autocracies will forever wage endless war against each other in order to distract the proletariat and obfuscate the Revolution?"
"Congratulations, full marks."
"Sir, is there anything to be learned from the defeat of Poland at the hands of the Russian Empire?"
"There are a multitude of things we can learn from the failure of Poland. Firstly, the Polish government was essentially incapable of effectively handling its status within the Krakow Pact in order to ensure it received proper aid and succor from its allies, chiefly Brandenburg. Secondly, without static and reinforced defenses, no force can hold off an enemy indefinitely. Thirdly, never trust a German. Fourthly, the failure of Poland was assured by its refusal to acknowledge the needs of the proletariat. Eventually all such oppressive and unsustainable systems of government shall assuredly falter. Class dismissed!"

First Proletarian Mannerheim sends his condolences, whatever you may think of our goals and intentions, the Emperor was a great man and with the monarchy we have had no quarrel other than that which comes necessarily with our embrace of the Revolution. May he enjoy the eternal rest that he doubtless deserves. It is our proposal that the Emperor be buried in the Fatherland, where we shall provide for his honored and respectful mausoleum. God save the Emperor.
