I’ve been a proponent of a ‘Pirate Queens’ triple-pack with Grace O’Malley (Ireland), Dihya (Berbers) and Teuta (Illyria) for awhile, would give three awesome historical female rulers with personality (especially Grace, her life story is really interesting)

Was Dihya a pirate? I know Sayidda al Hurrah of Morocco was, if that is who you meant.

Funny, I always thought I was the youngest. At 26 I've been a civ fan for two decades.

I honestly though the honor was mine. I first became a Civ Fan around when Civ VI first released, so around six years of CivLove for me.

Also, noon's passed and no video yet, so we're probably getting one at 1 PM EST today.

I'd say that, if you're going Pirate Queens, you'd probably want Sayyida al-Hurra (leading Morocco?), not Dihya

I'm going to ask a (probably stupid) question that may have already been asked: the Leader Pass says it's free for those who own all the DLC, but I don't own that Cat Scout thing. Does anyone know if that's officially considered "DLC"?

Yeah, I don't have any hard data. As a Millennial, I just usually feel like I'm the youngest person in most Civ communities by 10, 20 years.

In our mutual discord I am the second youngest, am I not? And I am 36 yo.

It's actually not a stupid question, probably. I'm in the same boat. I hope not either but if that's the case I'll just get it and then hopefully disable it in game.

Edit: Looking at Steam it shows that I already own everything in the Anthology, so I think we should be good.

I'd do unspeakable things for a Grace O'Malley-led Irish civ. As for Scotland, I think Mary Stuart would fit the "Big Personalities" guideline best, though what her ability would be and how it'd fit with the rest of the Scottish build are beyond me at the moment.

Not to add even more Chinese leaders into the mix, but any "Pirate Queen" pack that doesn't include Cheng I Sao is missing the boat, so to speak.

The Scout DLC is not part of the Anthology, so it makes no difference.

They usually warn the previous day to tune in the following day, whenever there's a video update. So unless there's a tweet in the next 45min, I don't think there's anything to watch tomorrow.

Honestly, I'd love Mary Stuart in the game with Elizabeth. She could come with her own Loch Castle unique improvement, basically a fort that must be built on a lake tile that adds culture/tourism late game.
Units that enter must fortify and stay imprisoned there the rest of the game, until another unit takes them over and becomes imprisoned instead.

She can just take a boat for herself.

I think I'll just rename Vanilla Saladin Harun Al-Rashid and rewrite his lines. There are no depictions of Al-Rashid and he already looks like Al-Rashid from Civ V. Besides, it's not like I understand Arabic, so whatever he's saying won't break immersion.

Make sure you also change his capital to Baghdad.
