So this pretty much confirms Portugal as the last civ... what a shame in a way but also i don't mind them in the game, i hope they bring a cool gameplay mechanic

And shush, don't Baba Yetu or De Medici me. I think a game with Da Vinci main theme needs Italy for closure. Full stop.

I do think there are still plenty of ideas they could expand into for a season 2 pass:

* Ice Age mode
* Prehistoric mode
* Plague mode
* Orbital/moon mode
* Beyond Earth mode
* Cyberpunk mode
* Colonies mode
* SS expansion
* Heroes and Legends expansion
* Barbarians expansion

And that's just with two seconds of thought.

As for Cyberpunk mode, it might have too many glitches and bugs.
