While I remain firmly in the "Civ 7 please" camp, I am delighted to hear about the new civs, buildings, and gameplay modes.
Magnificence Catherine is definitely a reference to the
cultural "magnificences" she used to throw, so I'm glad she's one of the two leaders to be visually and gameplay wise changed up. Ted looks great in game already, but I expect the Rough Rider version will come with appropriate garb, including the hat.
I expect Byzantium, Portugal, Assyria/Babylon, and Iroquois or some other North American Native American tribe at this point. I'm SO GLAD Gran Colombia made it in, and likely with Simon Bolivar (El Libertador) to boot. I fully expect Lady Six Sky or Yuk'noom the Great for the Maya per my constant posts on them (especially the former) in the Ideas forum. As for Ethiopia, I would be delighted if Menelik II was the choice, and hopefully his wife will not be chosen (she is actually not as worthy due to her adherence to certain policies which arguably made Ethiopia worse, though I guess not all female leaders can be Hatshepsuts).
As for the likely alternate leader in Pack 5, maybe Mandukhai the Wise for Mongolia? Unifying the Mongolians and winning a war while pregnant are significant pluses, and Mongolian children, according to Jack Weatherford, still revere Mandukhai, who is almost as respected as Genghis Khan. Also wouldn't mind an alternate war-focused pharaoh for Egypt, like Senusret III.
