Lurker's comment: As in OTL, USSR's policy was to support Turkey in rightful and not-so-rightful pretesnsions against Greece, and as generally Turkey was the only nation that could be said to be friendly towards USSR not counting Mongolia and Tannu Tuva, well, this is quite unlikely.
