Of course - I don't disagree. I'm just saying that, of the 200 or so countries in the world, only about 6 or 7 are realistic choices for "greatest threat to world peace". Hence it's not surprising to see one of those 6 or 7 feature prominently. You've only got a few countries to choose from, so you're bound to choose America quite often. It takes a lot more than just having the capacity to disrupt world peace. I have the capacity to disrupt many people's days by kicking them in the balls. I am equipped with sturdy winter boots with heavy tips to protect my toes, I have played soccer so I have a good kick all figured out, I'm slightly athletic, I'm male. I could probably kick 20 people in the balls before I was wrestled to the ground. The potential is there but nobody would call me a threat to anything, because I've never acted in a violent way towards anyone.
People are judging based on past actions here, not capacity. Sure, you need some capacity, otherwise you'll never be a threat to anything, you're right, but in the end what matters is how you act, and not what you have
I would say your analogy should be that you also carry a gun everywhere or something. I.e. that the capacity not only exists, but is real, visible, and imminently applicable.
