:nope: USA total area 3,796,742 sq mi China total area 3,705,407 sq mi.
there are some thingamajigs that makes those figures wrong. I believe mainly by excluding territories China controls but other countries (mostly India) disputes

so the figure you mentioned for china excludes Taiwan and disputed areas with India, but more importantly your figure for America includes territorial waters, so actually America is 3,677,649 square mileys

Aka it doesn't really matter

It doesn't really matter to honestly represent the graph. Focus

it is a graph, and the 3rd and 4th are similar enough and definitions are fluid enough that they can swap places, ergo, it doesn't matter to honestly represent the graph.

U mad?

It makes a pretty big difference to the most prominent parts of the map. On top of that, it's really interesting.

The map is a little out of date as Japan has taken over all of Sudan which was divided into two a few years back.

It would be nice to be able to drive across the border for a real Mexican taco or Greek salad.

I also noticed now that the map counts Svalbard as a country which is wrong and dumb

Is that an oiling outpost or something
It's actually a coal mining outpost lol
I'm not even joking

It's got two norwegian towns (one partially an international research place), one russian town (mostly filled with ukrainians) and a tiny polish outpost of 10 people

I think a series about the main norwegian town is currently being broadcast on like netflix or hbo or something
