I find it hard to believe that anything humans can make in a lab don't get made regularly in a supernova. Now the natural made ones may decay too fast to be found in nature. But I don't think that can be taken to mean they never occur in nature.

This. And if they are possible to create in supernova or other stellar phonemoneon then almost by definition there will be astronomical amounts in the universe since there are so many stars. What is created may not stick around and it certainly doesn't show up here, but that is not to say the stuff doesn't exist anywhere, ever.

I think it took probably this long for documentaries to hit a critical mass. A lot of people will watch the right documentary - what counts as right is what piques their peculiar interests. It has probably taken this long for enough documentaries on enough subjects to become widely available for people to really dig into them. That's my theory anyways.

Was thinking about replying earlier, but I felt a bit uncertain since it's been a long time since I had about this (2015 geez), but the professor in lecture today remarked this in passing so now I feel confident about it lol.

Assuming this particular image is a bit old this was when this was just a hypothesis, but it was confirmed by observation in 2017.

It says "origin of elements". So for example uranium there is made when neutron stars collide, and not in supernovas.

I did have a course where I learned about supernovas back in 2015, so I don't remember all the details, but I do remember vaguely that not all elements heavier than iron were made in supernovas.

Is time warner a content provider or a cable utility or both? I thought they were primarily content provider at this point. It seems like all the physical line guys are trying to buy content providers so they can push out netflix, hbo and other pure content producers.

I find what comcast has done really interesting though. They let netflix and amazon tv apps run on their cable boxes. You still need a subscription to those services so many probably see it as pointless, but to me it makes it feel like they're all integrated into one entertainment package. When browsing for shows on xfinity it'll say available on demand, or to rent, or with hbo and now it'll also say watch on netflix or amazon apps. It's convenient. I don't think it makes a difference to cord cutters but it just makes cable a little more useful and maybe some people keep it for that.

The population seems static throughout the 17th Century and I believe that the Civil War killed more Englishmen proportionally speaking than any other war since then.
