My bet is yes. When she does the First Looks, it doesn't sound like she's tripping over words she was just told to read, it sounds like she genuinely understands what she's discussing.
In our modern world, having community relations or marketing people that actually understand the product is a lot more rare than you'd hope.
I know this will likely not be the stream to ask about emergencies, but I definitely want to know what the heck that red forest is.
Actually, I am curious about changes to the vanilla civs, and since this is a stream about the new leader of a vanilla civ, I figure this might be a good time to ask.
Agreed. If these idiots want to play identify politics they should just have their Civ revoked. Seriously if an Australian politician had said they don't like their representation no one would have given a toss. Special treatment for these guys is just laughable. Replace them with the Boers, you won't hear any moaning about cultural appropriation from them.
Sarah Darney confirmed to me on Twitter that they will be showing the promotion trees for all the governors on the live stream. Also, if you have questions about governors, send her a tweet and she will try to answer them on the live stream: https://twitter.com/sbar713/status/951480763031150592
Dear fellow American members of this forum. Can you pls explain me one thing about that Creegate.
Is it: a) serious law/amends issue for Firaxis b) a matter of corporate and business image c) just a storm in a teacup and their squeamish?
Look you are going to want them to talk about the Cree and what's happening in the stream. Guess what, unless it is resolved in under 24 hours, which is unlikely, they can not and will not be talking about the Cree during the stream.
So while we have no control of the randoms of Twitch Chat, we can all here agree not to be obnoxious during the stream and filling up chat with requests for them to talk about something they very probably legally can not talk about.
Also, they looked at the Civilopedia that one time and let some secrets out, hahaha, it was amusing, you know what isn't amusing asking them to check the Civilopedia every bloomin moment.
If we as a community can do this it will be a better stream for them, and better for us, because they are likely to be able to cover more things, and be more lily to do more streams in the future if Firaxis does not feel they are under siege every time they load up twitch.

Well, it's unfair speculation on my part... but given Sarah swapped jobs not long after (from production to marketing no less), I do wonder if she was in charge when the Nubian DLC and patch dropped with all the surrounding chaos. It would seem that many of the main players were either elsewhere altogether or working on XCOM. Whoever was in charge dropped the ball.

If it did raise to a level of an 'A', there would be a jurisdiction issue, since the Cree are in Canada, and Firaxis (and Civ IP) are in the US. That can be difficult to untangle, and another reason why legal action is not likely (very expensive, very messy, and both parties seem to have better, more amicable options to resolve any issues before them).
