Do you ever...

That would exhaust it... listening to it so many times. It wouldn't seem that special. I'll listen to it two or three times but after that I'll listen to something else, maybe something similar or a different version by a different band.

Oh, trust me, if you find a song like this, you will know it; and it won't get old.

Not really, whenever i hear a new good song i try to listen to it as few times as possible. That way i would never get bored of it.
When they would stop running it on the radio & tv that often, only then i would play it.

EDIT: oh wait Loituma - Leva's Polka is an exception ... i listened to that for hours every day.

yep, usualy in car, when I am driving long trips

Last time I lisened to Bob Dylan´s Motorcycle Psycho Blues for a hour and half ):-))

That's the thing though, it doesn't. I hear it and want to hear it again. A year later it's just part of a regular playlist, but when it comes on I never skip it or feel it's diminished my enjoyment.

Once, I listened to Stairway to Heaven for 3 hours straight, lemee tell ya, don't do it!

Don't ever, ever do it if you have a flatmate who, while I *cough* HE may like the song, just not that much. No matter how many different versions you play.

I've been listening to the Pirates theme nonstop since I saw the movie. As in, it's on loop.

I might do it when I find one song by a band I just discovered, but it's mostly with new CDs, listening to the same one for a few weeks.

I listened to that Peter Kay and Tony Christie as well for about an hour-no idea why but it may explain the twitch whenever i hear a bolton accent.

Yes, I do that a lot, not only with songs but with entire CDs.

Yup, currently Underoath's Reninventing Your Exit and Taking Back Sunday's Make Damn Sure are those songs for me.

I very rarely listen to albums over and over, even when recently purchased. The only exceptions were Crowded House Recurring Dream and David Gray's White Ladder
