DwarfNES III: 99 Barrels of Beer

What determines how many dwarves come with each wave of immigration? My first wave saw 7 dwarves join my original 7, then come spring I'm overwhelmed by a flood of of 27 dwarves! I'm struggling to keep up.

How much wealth you have made. If you made a million wealth somehow in your first year. You would get like 50 dwarfs.
 
That's the point. I can't deal with so many immigrants at once (I've never played past the first wave of immigrants before). Maybe if he'd been doing something more useful liking digging extra bedrooms, which has a more tangible benefit and (I think) wouldn't be worth as much, I'd be able to better cope.

By the way, have my dwarf, or HunterG24's, been up to anything?

The thing with bedrooms is you can make them 1 tile big and it would be fine.

As for your dwarf I don't think anything magical has happened. And I don't remember HunterG24.
 
I tried it and they ran away! How can you find a place where you can both mine and harvest trees? It can't be done! Every time I find a good mining spot the water is frozen.. even the the temperature is not. What happened?

Well perhaps my dwarf died an uninteresting death... or was lost in the rush of immigrants. Could I be installed as a soldier again please?

For not getting what he wants, Abaddon ordered Adamantine objects, which we have none of, Abaddon ordered a guard to take 4 hammerstrikes as punishment. The guy was a champion so he lived but he now have a messed up spine and arms. He may never walk again.

We cannot abide such cruelty. Obviously, Abaddon has to be be removed. Dwarven workers, unite! Overthrow the bourgeois!
