The front entrance, all shiny with the two water towers on each side. They have flood gates hooked to one lever at the 3rd floor of the tower and will kill everyone if I pull the lever. All designed by Kal's dwarf.

The under construction catacombs. With cheap and moderate tombs.

Thlayli had a strange mood and decided to use some of our adamantine wafers to forge a crown. This crown is worth five times more than the rest of the fortress. Surely the globin scum will attempt to take it from us.

@germanicus: Right away. No sheriff for now. I need to build a room for the sheriff and Iggy cannot be sheriff because he is leader.

I patiently waited, and saw no mention of anyone else being named sheriff, so I brought up the question again.

Where did it say human slaughter became sheriff, becuase I cannot see that sentence anywhere.

I said it somewhere. I am building the Aquarium and Zoo now. I finally got another wolf from the elves and will begin breed them to use in the giant maze I will construct to hide the million dollar Crown.

The crown gave us so much prestige that we just got 19 immigrants. Building a zoo and aquarium now. Underground fishing zone for the win.

Another wave of immigrants pushes us to 53. Iggy is now Mayor and Child-Slaughter is now Captain of the Guard.

The new extremely cheap housing district. I thought the shape came out nice and equally efficient.

Moving water into a walled in reservoir for no reason other than to use up stone clutter.

The zoo area. We have off the top of my head. A leopard, two wolves (hoping for them to breed), a raccoon, a red cardinal, an elk and some others I can't remember. I plan on setting up animal traps outside to capture a goat and a hoary marmot.

The updated tombs area. The two larger tombs at the top are from left to right, Thlayli's and Iggy's. Thlayli because of the huge awesome crown and Iggy because he is a the mayor. The rest are just empty ones preparing for any death. The zero's are coffins.

So, the crown's finished, the defenses... and the catacombs are turning out nicely. They'd better get my beard right in the statue, or I'll have them do it again.

Yes, it's a good time. Everyone's coming here because they love me so much. Damn, I want that crown. It's so... shiny... with it I could be a king among dwarves. Wait... do I even have a title now? I can't just be an Iggi. I shall be... LORD Iggi. Hahah, it has a nice ring, no? Well, time to go inspect the zoo and yell at the animal keepers.

While digging the underwater reservoir we struck a nice large vein of sphalerite, which is a zinc ore. So as shown below as gray * we have enough to start making things from zinc.

We had another strange mood followed by the creation of another adamantine artifact. This time beating out even Thlayli's wealthy crown. Made by some other blacksmith this will obviously be the final resting place of the Dwarven King one day.

The current status of most things. Notice we are running low on booze. I have two brewers working non stop and we seem to have a stable amount. I ordered the dwarven caravan that next year they need to bring lots of booze.
