The underground reservoir is being filled and some war dogs are being chained up at the entrance to keep thieves out. I still plan on building lots more traps around the entrance and some bigger outer walls. Doing some pumping of water to make a moat maybe and some other stuff.

I would really like some ideas on things to build and stuff from the players. I would build an aquarium but we have no sand to make glass. So we will have to wait to buy some in the future.

@joakim: Yea your dwarf tried mining out the reservoir and got himself stuck in the middle of a big hole on a single pillar of rock. We had to build new floors to get him out.

Good thing the forest is constantly regrowing. Every year we gain 50-100 logs from one section and that gives us the fuel to well fuel the forges.

And we are down to 14 barrels of booze. Those lazy brewers aren't keeping up.

This is in front of the entrance. I expanded our walls and setup a choke point entrance with traps and a constant stationed guard with dogs. The threat of invasion by goblins is increasing every year.

The housing complex for the poor is turning out very nice. Another 10 beds and I will have the current populations happy.

This is the underground reservoir. It is being filled and will take another year or more to do so. It is going to have fish and everything eventually so those long sieges are a little more bearable.

Update on the catacombs. The usual tombs with the new expansions. The Nobel Hub is in the middle and has room for 6 coffins in all but the real noble tombs are going to branch off the sides. The only current noble tomb being reserved is the blue (Adamantine) sarcophagus for Fultun.

Basic status progress. I managed to save us from running out of alcohol (without it the dwarves work less). We had gotten down to 1 barrel at one point but with lots of farmers and brewers we are in the greenzone again. Note the 75 population. The DM brought 21 immigrants.

Iggy just demanded an impossible mandate. Bronze items must be forged. We have no bronze. So someone will be put in jail and I hope it isn't Luckymoose II.

Daft I will name the only fortress guard for you. He should be getting some adamantine armor and weapons soon enough. He is like Barney Fife.


Oh and three goblin thieves came. They were instantly destroyed by the guard dogs.

Currently you are the only active miner. Some others pitch in when needed. You are legendary at mining and engraving. You instantly make legendary engravings on walls. I had a spam of messages saying (j_eps created a masterpiece) like 100 times.

I would have to draft you into the army in later life. I can't make guards train.

Goblins. And yes they start coming when the population hits 80. For now all we get is goblin thieves. Oh and eventually dragons and other megabeasts like Titans and Colossi will come.
