Just wondering: why is the Bannor champion's sword handle so long if it's one-handed? It reminds me of the mimic's sword, where it makes it look crazy and cool, but here it feels a bit out of place.

Other than that, great job with all the new models :goodjob:

yea, like Grey fox said, I was thinking, that they could either hang the shield around their back or ram it into the ground for protection, giving them another free hand for the sword. But it still has to be light enough to be used with the shield in the other hand, thats why it is not too long.
And, I liked the look ;)

Maybe it's a bastard sword: the longer handle become useful when the champion must leave his shield behind('cause its broken,...)
This creation is wonderful, but I think that a Gladius ( Roman Empire Shortsword ) fits better with the military background of the Bannors.

seZ is delivering some impressive art to this mod, really :)
btw, is there any hope for Arthendain to be done ?

Sez,

As always you continue to put out great work that really adds to the mod.

Great work.

I'm loving the new Bannor art, Chalid's great too!
As a matter of fact, ALL of Sez' art is great :goodjob:

As for the Bannor Sword, I like how the art doesn't totally emulate the style of the Roman Empire... the lore gives a good feel for what their military is like, but the difference in art style really gives them the amazing uniqueness that makes FfH great!

Would it be too much to ask to put in a request Sez?

The Dwarven Adepts and Mages look awesome, seriously. But when you upgrade to Archmages, they become a balding tall guy in a starry cloak. Any way we can get that changed please?

That's true for many units. Dwarven Adepts are never supposed to be upgraded beyond Adept. I had a similar issue with the Mobius Witch. They also become the Archmage appropriate to whatever race you're playing when you upgrade them. Which is particularly perplexing since they undergo a complete sex change when doing so. :crazyeye:

Well, everything's possible with these demonic summoned creatures...

Actually, The Luichuip can get Dwarven Archmages, and yeah it would be great if they could get new art.

I realize that this is hardly the thread for it, but having not really played any of the dwarven factions and just checking the "cannot build"-list, listing both Mage and Archmage, exactly how can you get dwarven archmages? Apart from brainwashing preexisting mages from other factions.

Of course, making a generic Archmage & Mage model for units with the Dwarven race promotions is something I fully support. Much easier than to address issues like the Mobius Witch.

The Luichuip get mages and archmages the same way every other civ does. The khazad are the only civ that can't get mages or archmages by traditional means.

Yeah, having the vanilla archmage for the non-human factions is kind of jarring. It's even less appropriate for the Clan.

I think that may be a problem with FfH's design plan. You've created all this wonderful art for the low-tier units, and then we go to generic units at tier 4. Perhaps people expect it to be the other way round?

Ach! So it's completely me that have missunderstood it.
But yeah, if that's the case, then there definately, definately should be dwarven archmages and not bald men in multicolored robes. :p

Yep.
Race-specific Archmages are my next thing on the to-do list.
first Dwarve, then Orc, then Elves.
When I can do them depends on my spare time.

Glad to hear it

...now if I can somehow lure out C. Roland...and somehow persuade him to make a Lizardman Shadow, the Clan of Embers will be effectively completed.

OT: I'm also very glad to hear that Donal "Paramander recolour" Lugh is getting a new model :)
