So uh...how about these two new boards?
Are we going to transfer over older thread topics from the old OT?

I'm moving recent stuff over, so discussions can continue. Some of the stuff moved here is fairly obvious (raves, rants, member photos, youtube, etc.). Some of the heavier topic stuff mightn't be (e.g. the 'Victim of perceived thug may end up in jail' thread, which was started in a more one-liner friendly fashion, and has proceeded more in line with what might commonly be called 'quote wars'). Let me know what you think.

IMHO, move everything to Taberna unless the OP requests that it be moved to Civilium.

I'll move the decent threads (OP and discussion) to Civilium, I think. But yeah, will probably move most things here, to make clear the standard for posts in Civilium.

Well, I just moved 'Ask a Dietitian' to here. It looked decent, but I don't know what the OP wants. If I move a thread and you think it should go elsewhere, please let me know.

Turns out to be a good point. I moved Hygro's thread over because it was a well-thought OP. A couple of other well-thought out OPs, but moved them here because some of the contributions to them were not-so-well-thought-out.

Just a note for moving forward; if a thread that is well thought out attract crap posts, the thread will not be moved, but the posts in question will be deleted/infracted/whatever.

Okay, so I've moved a fair bit over.

Please don't take the types of topics you see in this forum at the moment as an indication of where these topics have to go. You can still post most of them in Civilium, and are strongly encouraged to, if you're interested in having an actual discussion of the topic (as most people are when they open a thread), rather than a procession of one-liners. The default for a political thread, for instance, should be the other forum, where the standards are about the same as the old OT (but perhaps a bit higher).

Remember you're always free to have a thread on a topic both here and there. So if you want to post something without the interference of people posting crap and engaging in mind-numbing quote wars, post it in Civilium and you can have a thread here for the one-liners anyway.
