GameNES 2: Rebirth of Gaming

Only time will tell. And by the rate of updates... in about 3 months, which rounds up nicely to roughly about 3.14159 updates. But if the rate increases... it might be 2.71828 updates instead. :p

P.S. Yeah, I know I'm a jerk.

OOC: Have I already been paid for my exclusives?

Non-Diplomacy:
Also, procedural generation will create the NPCs of the game, give them some relations and backstory. How much will that cost?
I believe that you have been paid for all of your exclusives. The procedural generation of NPCs won't cost anything extra either. It is all covered by the cost of the game.

Yeah, I get it, I update slowly.;)

However, orders are due today and I am missing most of them. Get them in as soon as possible!

So far I only have orders from Bestshot, MooseWarrior, and Neverwonagame. I need a few more before I begin the update.

News For Each Region

North America

The major game that was released in North America was Silent Service: Wings of Gold. It became an instant success and it drove Box sales to new sales records. The HiGrax also did well though, thanks to the many games that were available for it.

TIRC announced that during the holiday season of 1989, they would release their first handheld, The Square. This brought about a lot of hype for the handheld, since many people were quite excited by the announcement.

Big Time Entertainment continued to have their developers get more familiar with Avalon's game engine. This practice paid off as their developers are now masters at using it. They also continued to advertise Homicide Cop which helped keep sales high.

Canal Entertainment invested in adding Japan as a market, and they succeeded. Also, they released Mushroom Men 2, which was a Big hit on the HiGrax. (+Japanese Market, +Fan Base Size)

Europe

In Europe the Box barely edged out the HiGrax in sales, thanks most to Silent Service. The series was quickly becoming as popular in Europe as it was in North America.

Japan

The HiGrax had huge sales numbers in Japan, with games like Mushroom Men 2 and Arcade Explosion being the biggest sellers there. The Box also sold well, but it just wasn't a match for the HiGrax.

Kingdom Inc was strangely quiet, but a rumor started that they were working on something big.

GawShang released Arcade explosion and it was reviewed as a good game and it had decent sales too. It is expected that it will sell even more when the Camelot version is released.

Australia

Connections Games finally released Showdown, and while it was only an ok game, it got great sales.

OOC: Stats will be updated as soon as I get the chance.

OOC: Ripping off Connections Games. Anyway, does TIRC have to negotiate more money to get Blood Feud as an exclusive?

Blood Feud
Consoles: The Box (though we are likely to change plans on this if not given an Exclusive offer)
Option A: A Showdown ripoff designed to surpass Showdown greatly by sheer superiority of quality. It will have better actors, better camera, more options, and about four or five potential 'Crowning Moments' designed to surpass even the rest of the game by sheer superiority of quality.

Option B: A Showdown ripoff designed to explot the company's superiority quality to do much better then it did for the same cost, with:
-The 'storyline', to the meagre extent there is one, being diffrent
-Better actors
-Being camera
-Better all-round

Stories:

A New Plan
"What's this 'Showdown' idea?"

"The basic theme seems to be to make the player feel like a badass. It uses real-world level graphics to make it look real, and gives several options so that the player is in control."

Peter considered the development. The idea had clearly shown that it could get good sales with a very poor quality game. And it had only been realeased in Australia.

"Legally, can we get away with ripping it off?"
"How can you patent a basic concept?"

Peter smiled. The man he was talking to was no lawyer, but his point was correct.

"If a new company with quality that poor can gain those kind of sales, then we can gain much, much more..."

So sorry for missing that update. Been very busy.

2 SP on developing Xanea III: Dead Space

As an ex-owner of Mann Entertainment, I would like to mention that before I retired, Mann Entertainment had a deal with TIRC, Inc. where Mann Entertainment will permanently be Box exclusive in return for 1 SP per game in progress.
