Bold - it was a joke.
Underline - Joke again. I didn't mean it litterally. To bad you couldn't see it. (with the awww and the "mean evil georgian").
Being heated about issues is part of the process, non?

Those poor peacekeepers who weren't keeping the peace. Its nice they had that convenient Russian back up so close. Maybe they should have shot down some more unarmed drones to keep the peace.Hahah, . Please try to look at it from both sides, its not that simple. It is that simple
Russians were already there, everyone agreed for them to be there to maintain the peace between Georgians and people who do absolutely not want to be Georgians but ended up there after the collapse of the USSR.So they invaded when they were all ready there. Makes for an easy invasion when some one has all ready let you in.
What were they supposed to do when Georgia suddenly invaded then?Just walk away? Remember, Russian peacekeepers have been killed by the Georgian army already aswell as hundreds of civilians.Invaded who? Was Georgia going to invade Russia? Or do you mean Georgia invading Georgia?
Russia troops had only small arms.
Does that "small arms" include MiGs equipped with air to air rockets to blow unarmed drones out of the sky?
Rebels who have received Russian passports only for you to be able to call them Russian citizens. Hypocrisy at its best.
Those planes came from inside the Russian Federation (EDIT: if they did. I misread that you were talking about Russian MiGs engaging Georgian targets today) I am talking about troops on the ground.
So that would be a no. The MiGs that shot down the drones were not small arms.
You Russians seem to think that South Ossetia is already independent, and it's ok for you to help them.
Well, it's still part of Georgia. Regardless if they have Russian Paszport's or not.
Regardless of that Georgians have killed Russian citizens and Russian allies. Russia cannot sit on its hands.
Doesn't matter why, more than 90% of Osettians willingly took Russian citizenship. It should be clear whether they want Georgian army in Osettia or not.
Bah, Russia should just annex the whole of Georgia back as a province and be done with it. What's the rest of the world going to do? I'm tired of hearing about stupid power games in the Caucasus. The place was part of the russian empire for over 300 years, it has no modern history as an independent nation, and was basically fabricated as one now.
Russia kills itself more with alcohol every day.
Cant you read? There are no Russian airforce bases in South Ossetia. Russian planes are based on Russian soil.
I hate to play Devil's advocate here, but the US did invade Grenada to protect American lives back in the 1980s.
