Glenn Beck Goes Off The Deep End Again

Glenn Beck is literally nothing more than a con-man giving false "hope" to the most pathetic and desperate of American society. And people buy into him, his mistruths, lies and falsehoods.

Dude, Beck is a troll, and one of the best rolls around. He probably doesn't believe half the stuff he says. He knows what his viewers want, and he delivers.

I hope so too, but a voice in the back of my head is telling me it probably ain't true. Beck most likely is a complete nutter :)

Beck is clearly not all that smart, so he could very well believe it all no matter how incredible it may seem.

Glenn Beck is like a poisonous metal such as lead that poisons the minds of average American's through the television. I feel like I'm getting brain damage just by watching that trash.

I would shed no tears if this man got killed. I would actually be glad and that's saying alot because I usually wish no ill towards anyone. But he is basically fueling the negative perception about Americans world wide and making Americans dumber as a result.

My parents watch this guy every day and donate MONEY to conservative think tanks. I live with with two Glenn Beck viewers, so I think I can verify that yes, Beck is like a walking case of lead poisoning that gives people brain damage.

As in all things, this type of situation only works if there is indeed a modicum of truth to it, and in all fairness, there were a great many examples of people seeing Obama as the messiah.

If people saw him as the Messiah, its in the context of "because he wasn't George W. Bush."

Beck's taking money from a foreign agent to damage the US. So if he knows what he's doing, he's a traitor.

I actually disagree. I think it was in the context of him being the first black president.

I must admit to watching Glenn Beck and Jon Stewart fairly regularly. I do it for the entertainment. Unfortunately, there are people that take what either has to say to heart and run with it.

I gotta say, Beck was more entertaining before he "got religion" (an expression, not actually on religion) on the Tea Party-type stuff and started giving sermons. That's why I'm watching his show less and less. But I do like to at least see what those I have disagreements with are saying, which may be more than the majority of the audience could state.

This conspiracy stuff seems awfully familiar if you reverse the positions....

I think the only people who saw Obama as the "messiah" were those who were looking for any excuse to hate him, because they very well could no longer blame his skin color due to political correctitude.

No smear campaign no matter how absurd is too much for the far-right. It is simply amazing what some people are willing to believe.

I hate when people compare Jon Stewart and Glenn Beck. Jon Stewart actually makes sense.

It was in reference to the first page of the thread. Sorry I didn't make that clear. However, they're both entertainers and they're both raking in the cash, that much is the same.

I'm still in awe that Beck has been able to get this kind of following, though. My soon-to-be-mother-in-law is such a devotee...and I still don't quite understand it.

That Idiot Beck said:
I could not say these things about the most powerful man on planet Earth and stay on the air if they were not true.
That's rather counter-intuitive. Wouldn't the Secret Shadow Conspiracy only allow such declarations if they were false? Hell, the fact that he isn't dead is practically a refutation of his whole screed.

The Arch-Idiot said:
They are, of course, Nazis. They have a kind of Nazi attitude. They are the left wing of Nazism.
Am I the only one who finds something iffy in explicitly declaring a person of Jewish heritage to be a Nazi?

(And, of course, the conflation of Strasserism and American Liberalism, but that's more "idiotic" than "grossly offensive".)

Errrrr. Huh?

Just look at this forum. Almost invariably, the poster bringing up the Obama-as-a-Messiah canard is anti-Obama, not pro-Obama. I may not go as far a Form in automatically discerning nefarious motives, but the ratio of Obama-as-Messiah comments (in bringing up the subject) is heavily tilted towards coming from the anti-Obama crowd.

This seems more than just bash the liberals. Glen Beck seems to have such a fear of liberals that he's become a conspiracy theorist. Cause that's what this is, the most ridiculous conspiracy theory I've ever heard. Worse than the moon landing being fake.
