This is something that pains me, but I know I have to do it.

The fact is that I have realised, with some help from my family, that I should try to put more effort in my laboral life and other important things. And this is one of the things I cannot continue, since it means losing time that I should spend on other things.

This is why I intend for this to be my last message here. I know that it means halting the VG Force NES and stopping being Spain at SKNES III, as well as leaving behind any projects I had for this, but it has to be done.

With that, I am going to ask Birdjaguar, or whoever can do so, to eliminate my account. This way, I will know this is an irrevocable decision. (BTW, BJ, you should do what I suggested earlier).

It's been seven (don't know the exact number) years since I first joined the NESing community, and it has been by far one of the most entertaining things I've been involved in, particularly thanks to EQandcivfanatic, probably one of the best Mods this community has, Crezth, the mod of the first NES I played and also good rival in several other places, and many other people who made me feel welcome for quite a lot of time.

Good tidings, and I hope that this continues to entertain all of you for many years.

Yours,
Miguel

We'll miss you. Take care.

NO DUDE, DON'T GO, PROCRASTINATION IS THE WAY.
Seriously.
I've been surviving like this for years.

You are unable to continue NESing because it affects your daily life? Then yeah, you probably should quit. Time management is key to success as an adult.

Even though I haven't been here long, I've still enjoyed it while you were here. It sucks that the Italy-Spain alliance in SKNES won't ever come to fruition...

Good luck to you wherever you walk next.

:( I considered you my best friend :( take care

It's sad to see someone leave the community like this, but good luck with your future endeavors!

Lucky aside, what compels people to post threads announcing their departure from NESing is beyond me. Relevant mods can be contacted and an announcement can be made in the WWW thread without all the fanfare of creating a new thread, burdening the forum and adding to the shaming when the person inevitably returns from their surprisingly brief absence.

Go forth and become gainfully employed.

Well, if Milarqui is gone for good (potentially possible), I will say farewell. I know you were my ally at some point somewhere.... good times. hahaha. Earn the various monies and then come back when you can afford the time off (pun intended).

If you do come back, let me be the first to say welcome back.

Godspeed. :salute:

Sorry to see you go Milarqui, you were a pretty cool guy. Good luck in your employment endeavors!

"effort in ... other important things"

Important is in what you consider important. I find my happiness, and fun, to be of high importance, probably the most important. Gaming, my master's degree - all I did out of enjoyment of playing or researching in the lab. Yes there are tedious less entertaining parts in both of those, but I go through in order to achieve the only important thing in life - happiness.

If NESing takes away from your happiness, you should quit, otherwise you are making what may be a bitter mistake.

And as final words. No one ever leaves NESing.

Just as I finally learnt to write your name correctly!!!

Best wishes Milarqui, and I strongly agree with erez's post above.

Best wishes Milarqui. :salute:

Best wishes, Milarqui, although I maintain hope for you to still retain your account.
