GOP 2016 Frontrunner

Rand is surely to the left of Romney (Let alone Ryan) socially.

"Left" in a ultraconserative party?

He opposes abortion even in the case of rape though, which might not go over well with certain people.

The Democrats won 93% of the African-American vote, 73% of the Asian vote, and 71% of the Latino vote (and Bill O'Reilly's explanation that these people (and women) will just vote for whoever will give them more stuff, besides being fairly blatantly racist
How is that racist? It's true of whites as well.

You don't worry at all about a segment of the population that is dependent and every glowingly dependent on direct government aid to live?

How truly pathetic do you think people are, that they're so unable to provide for themselves that they should be permanently subsidized for no greater a purpose than to simply exist?

This is like the so-called "war on women;" Republicans are accused of this spurious charge, and yet it's the Democrats who reduced the election as much as possible to a single issue for women, and one which wasn't even particularly at risk (even if the repugnant Todd Akins had won).

"Left" in a ultraconserative party?
Cute picture, but you can troll both sides with this nonsense.

Harry Reid is an unabashed racist. How in the world can a Democrat ever forgive themselves for voting for or supporting him? Well, clearly because he's a Democrat, so even though he looks down on all African-Americans, it must be ok because there's a 'D' next to his name, right?

@Ailedhoo- I said "To the left of..." That doesn't necessarily imean actually left.

Although I think using "Left" and "Right" to describe social issues is silly. Just to name two examples, the left commonly supports drug legalization but opposes guns, and the right vice versa. But that's not really a left-right thing. Both allowing drugs and guns are (Comparatively) libertarian views.

Rand Paul isn't the practically perfect libertarian his father is, but he supports legalization of marijuanna, an end to the Patriot Act, an end to the TSA, and he thinks states should be allowed to legalize gay marriage. Compare that to "Typical" members of the GOP... he's socially much more libertarian than them.

TSA as in Transportation Security Administration?
Okay, they tend to be nazi's in practise, but I don't see any principled reason why you would want to end them.

TSA as in Transportation Security Administration?

Yes.

Okay, they tend to be nazi's in practise, but I don't see any principled reason why you would want to end them.

You get it, its that part before the comma.

Do I object to some form of security before getting on a plane? No, not if its justified and nonintrusive, I don't object to it. But the TSA is full of crooks so it should be ended (And those in the TSA who are crooks should be given Nuremberg-style trials and punished if found guilty.)

Well, honestly, can't you just get the crooks out? Having no security before entering a plane seems like a bad idea.

Marco Rubio I believe will be the nominee, and I believe he would win.

You don't even know who his competition would be, so that's just wishful thinking.

The entire organization is made up of crooks, and the government allows them to be crooks.

Government can't really check government run security. It needs to be privatized and regulated.

I will be upset greatly if Jeb Bush is the nominee.

Yeah that privatized regulated security really paid off on 9/11.
Free market FTW!

Is your answer to everything 'privatisation'? If so, I invite you to look over the wondrous Tory efforts to sell off GB Ltd and how amazingly well that has gone over the years.

It was probably the government implants?

I'm not sure if you've seen the video, but he was specifically linking 'people who want stuff' to the minority groups, saying that the minority groups voted heavily for Obama because more people within those minority groups are just looking for handouts. Not exactly a winning approach to take towards redressing the demographic problems Republicans are facing.
