GOP Super Tuesday

40% of Virginians were willing to vote for Ron Bloody Paul? I know Santorum and Gingrich were out, leaving him the 'not Mittens' vote, but still, that confuses and scares the hell out of me.

Turn out was low, so the only people who voted were Paul voters and serious-enough-to-realize-if-they-don't-vote-Romney-will-lose-the-state Romney voters.

Speaking of "How the hell did that happen?", how did Gingrich get zero percent in Wyoming, and who's this Other Candidates with 11 %?

I like how just under 300 votes is 55 %

woops, I see that only 26% is reported.. I thought counting would be over or near over by now...

Can somebody explain Virginia? Did Santorum and Ginrich not run there?

They failed to submit their applications in accordance to weird state regulations, or something like that.

So Romney won what, 5 extra delegates in Ohio? If Gingrich pulls out and commits his delegates to the Poopsmith, he'll have enough to take this to the convention.

Wouldn't that rather require Gingrich to admit that someone else was better than him?

Maybe he could be persuaded to be the manipulating mastermind VP behind the scenes, similar to the often claimed relationship between Bush and Cheney.

Perhaps he could get appointed their "Defending Western Civilization and Moon Colony Advisor".

Does anyone actually see a way forward for Santorum? Unless something amazing happens, doesn't this race seem over?

Santorum is using Hillary's strategy, get to the convention where anything can happen. He won't say it, but he can't win on committed delegates.

However Romney has a large advantage there as Paul will back him (and his supporters will do whatever he says, no matter their view) and he has the support of the Party leadership.

Which is good, because any chance of a Santorum presidency is terrible.

I honestly don't understand the Paul/Romney alliance. You'd think that Paul supporters would hate Mitt, but Paul seems to love the guy.

Paul is probably angling for a position somewhere (anywhere) if Romney gets elected.
