Here's the
save.
Preturn: Looks good. Monarchy is due in 7. I drop science down 10% and still get it in 7 but at +9 gpt instead of +3. Cover some workers at risk of being captured IBT.
IBT: Byz archer kills a spear. (0-1)
Turn 1: 360 A.D. Pretty quiet this turn. Just kill a few units by Black Forrest, and position others. (4-1)
IBT: Lisbon completes the Great Wall. Maya cascade to the library. It would be nice if they get that
Missed ST4 growing and it riots.
Turn 2: 370 A.D. Kente founded at Lees red dot. Kill 4 horses, 1 archer and 1MDI. (10-1) You guys are right, that forest in the south sucks. Move a mp to ST4.
IBT: Byz archer attacks a small stack I had and a sword kills it on defense. (11-1)
Turn 3: 380 A.D. Not much in range that I can kill without leaving units exposed. Also some of ours need to heal as well including a couple of armies. Only kill 2 this turn. (13-1)
IBT: No attacks.
Turn 4: 390 A.D. Ive been trying to get Lees white dot planted in that forest and raze the Mayan city. Its a tough row to hoe though. Lack of roads really puts the dampers on things. Kill 6 this turn. (19-1)
IBT: No attacks
Turn 5: 400 A.D. Have settler in place to found white dot. So-so with the pults this turn.
Killed 3 swords, 1 JT, 1 horse and 3 archers. Lost one archer. (27-2)
Drop science and still get Monarchy in 2 turns. I wish we had some tech to build infrastructure. 400AD and we still cant write.
IBT: Had a sword exposed, but he kills an archer and a horse on defense and promotes to elite. I was lucky. (29-2)
Turn 6: 410 A.D. Kiohero formed on the white dot. Mostly positioning and healing this turn. Sumeria is getting real serious about the Chondote-Gewauga area. They are being smart about it to, keeping the stacks out of pult range. The only units I could kill this turn would have left the unit exposed on the inter-turn. Turn science down again. We will get monarchy this next inter-turn.
IBT: No attacks. Monarchy in. I revolt immediately from the We want a revolution popup box.
We pull 5 turns of Anarchy. Salamanca riots, use scroll ahead to catch all the others.
Turn 7: 420 A.D. Kill 2 spears and autoraze Lapaza.
Kill 1 chariot and 5 archers on the NE front. Lose an archer to a JT. (37-3)
IBT: AI milling around all over the damn place. Koreans are getting a little more serious. A stack consisting of 3 spears, 2 archers, a sword and a warrior comes into view east of the forest area.
Turn 8: 430 A.D. Pillaged road where Lapaza was to slow down the AI, Killed 9, lost none, and got a promotion to elite. Didnt keep real good track this turn
(46-3)
IBT: Byzantines attack Gaya. Kill 1 MDI and lost a spear. (47-4)
Turn 9: 440 A.D. Only killed 7 this turn, but one of them got us Sitting Bull! I stopped here and went back and read Lees turn log. I really wanted another army, but as Lee said, the armies need more survibility. I had a few scares myself.
So I rushed the Pentagon in Niagara Falls.
I wanted to do it in a border town where expanded borders would help, but I decided to do it in a safer town.

(54-4)
IBT: Egypt drops a sword off next to Grand River. Niagara Falls Pentagon>MW
Turn 10: Added the Elite* sword to the army on the NE front. The other 2 are still 3 man armies. Killed 10 units this turn including that sword that was dropped by Grand River.
(64-4) Im pretty sure this is an accurate count, but I wouldnt swear to it.
Summary: 2 turns left on the Anarchy. The army in Black Forrest should heal if its not moved.
Sumeria is bringing tons of regular archers into the Chondote-Gewauga area.
Just the sheer quantity of units can be a problem at times. The kill ratio is due in large part, to my good luck with the catapults all through my turns.
Sorry, no screen shot. Im going to bed.
Markh, take a good look at everything before you hit enter. Its kind of in disarray, and God knows I could have missed something very easily.
You might want to shuffle a unit into Gewauga on the preturn.
We need more cats and we need barracks in the front line towns. Getting units healed was one of my biggest problems.
