Don't PC nerds always talk about Half Life as being 'influential'?

Only FPS's I've ever completed are Deus Ex and the original Call of Duty.

Halo is the only reason why the ECKSBAWKS became a success. Without Halo, it would've basically been a really big Zune.

Halo was the game that really revolutionized the FPS industry. Goldeneye was a great game, but Halo CE was the first truly great FPS.

Btw, for reference, I have beat the campaigns on legendary in 1, 3, Reach, and CE Anniversary. Heroic in ODST. Never played 2, but I have played all of the multiplayers to death, mainly Reach. So I guess that I'm a bit biased.

My mum was a bit paranoid when it came to FPSes. But that didn't matter because I didn't really like them anyway. Except for games made by Valve of course.

I only know them by their terrible reboots, but Painkiller is pretty fun.
