For the 90% of my fellow Americans who are clueless when it comes to geography, the three posters above me have indeed seen snow. :)

EDIT: Dag nabbit, Slozenger snuck in there. The three above Sloz's post.

I have, it was all over the news where I live...

I live in south texas and it had not snowed in 36 years. It was pretty awesome :)

I voted 'yes I've seen loads', primarily because I have.

 Well done, Ram! You've really got the idea of these polls now, haven't you ?

has only taken 6000+ misfires and a few years ;)

#edit: 9000+ you spam master!

I'm from Ohio. We have lots of snow. People are total pansies about it in DC...a few cm of snow, and everybody totally freaks out

I have seen lots of snow. The best snow though is that which comes quickly, covers all in delicate beauty and then departs even more quickly.

Yes, it snowed quite a lot this year.

Of course I have.

But we never get snow days because of the school's anti-snow day policy.

What are snow days?
Days off of school due to winter weather. (It's related to the difficulty of transporting students under such conditions)

Days schools are closed because it is too difficult/dangerous for school buses to pick up kids and take them to school.

Ahh, thanks.
I've never had a snow day.
Not because of lack of snow though.
Just the silly attitude that it's just snow and doesn't change anything.

to begin with i thought this thread was takin the p*** when i saw the title, looking at it i realised it was, i've seen lots of snow, you tend to see it if you go skiing often.

That said it's been in the 80s recently! WTH!

Michgan here. Quite a bit of snow, but we are not an ice state like people think. We are just different. In February 2005 we had a one week period where it went from 31 to 64. Now in April we have been enjoying upper 70's the last couple days. Don't ask me. Last summer we had like 10 90+ degree days in a row. The one summer before that we had 4 days in a row in the sixties.

This winter was very warm, not much snow at all, lots of days in the fifties. If global warming does exist, I'll thank it for that. Ofcourse, I can't thank it for the tornadoes we get.
