How did Armenia move so much from where it was to where it currently is?
Can I see some other examples of nations moving like this?
Paraguay did an interesting shift to the NW. It lost half of its territory to Argentina, Uruguay, and Brazil in the 1860s, but then took 1/3 of Bolivia in the 1930s to make up for it.
This may not count, but the name given to what is today the state of Ghana is a Western mistake: the Ghana people were much farther inland and to the Northwest, closer to southern Mali than where the present state of Ghana is.
