My first post had Sturmovik's instead of Ill-4's bombing the 14th Panzer that was a mistake on my part, was doing a lot of copy & paste to get the long report done. Tha's not possible since I did not have any Sturmovik's in range.

quick FYI that I am having major problems opening the HOF 4 files and extracting them to my laptop. I've tried using the trial versions of both winzip and WinRAR and both get huge errors trying to extract the files. Would appreciate it if someone could attempt to do the same and see if they get errors?????

Is there another program worth trying? Could it be that the problem is that they are trial programs? Let me know what you guys think? I'm leaving Saturday and will be away from home for about 10 days. It may turn out that someone will have to play my turn if I can't solve this problem in the next couple of hours.

I'll be operating on a prepaid mobile hotspot once I reach Nebraska and there is no way I can be downloading programs. I'll have one more night tomorrow to try downloads at a hotel. So any comments would be appreciated and best sent to me via email. Thanks guys!

I had no problems, but I'm using XP. Won't have a windows 7 system for a
few more weeks when I'm planning to buy a new laptop.

Quite a few roads and railroads in the Moscow area are destroyed by pillaging and aerial bomberdment. The rest of the German army in the east flees with their tails between their legs following the Russian and British attacks and in light of civil disorder(!) in Berlin!

Quite honestly, I don't see much hope for the Axis at this point - but I'll fight it out to the end like a man. GPS to Juriel.

If I would have known that I might not of taken the risk on that attack. I did not look at the stats for all the units in the game yet. I just went with my own rule of thumb that tanks and tank armies attack great but don't defend very well so I thought I had more then a 50% chance of success.

pretty quiet here all of a sudden???? After all the hassle and hours to get my laptop operational...I'm just a little anxious to see how it does knocking off those pesky Axis troops!!:blush:
 
I agree Eric and I suggest you just get it done and onto CH. I'll contact the authorities to send out an APB in the Serengeti and see if an Elephantium has been spotted out and about !
