Uncooked bacon is OK.

(If you're in a hurry.)

But how much salt is there in bacon?!!! Answer: plenty.

I've heard they add extra salt so they can add more water to bulk up the weight. The thieving b*stards!

Nope. It's good.

Turkey bacon on a turkey burger with pepperjack cheese and raspberry jalapeno sauce. Toast a bun and add lettuce.

In my mouth.

At first I thought, "why the hell would you do that to yourself???", then I remembered your're Jewish.

Chewy turkey bacon is a disgrace to the bacon family.

Hey, it ain't that bad. If its chewy it actually tastes good.

 Unreliable source on bacon.

booo :p

I voted crispy, but I like crispy on the edges and chewy on the inside.

I like my bacon strips to be for the most part crispy, but partially chewy. If the ends have a bit more fat that is a bit chewy that is counterbalanced precisely with the crispiness of the interior, then that is a good bacon strip indeed.

I have hotdogs in the morning instead of bacon.

You like turkey bacon and turkey burgers more than their counterparts, your other food opinions are therefore invalid.

Seriously, if you haven't had real bacon or a real burger in a while, you would be surprised at how good it tastes if you have it again.

No, regular bacon and beef burgers are good too.

Skillet fried burger with regular bacon, American cheese, ketchup and pickles. Toast a bun and add lettuce.

It's just different, man. It's called variety :p

Chewy, crispy is an abomination.

Also turkey.

Just a quick fact about Turkey bacon. Any real health benefits found in turkey bacon are outweighed because of the huge increase in sodium turkey bacon carries. Its virtually loaded with sodium because of how its processed. Far more than pork bacon carries.

Just something to think about.

And I prefer chewy bacon, not crispy.

Doesn't that count as chewy? Don't think you can weave brittle strands well.

It's woven before it's cooked, which I suppose means you could theoretically have a crispy or chewy bacon weave. I'll have to withdraw the objection...

In any case, my favorite is probably thick-cut chewy bacon, probably because it's so much more rare than the thinner (and usually crispy-er) cuts of bacon that I usually find at restaurants.

Good thing I'm not eating it for health reasons.
