How is your EU3 Game going?

I inherited Lithuania with Russia! (only a one province state by then)

I also remember there being some PUs that always seemed to end in inheritance: Denmark/Norway, Austria/burgundy, Spain/Netherlands(?) Poland/Lithuania and probably some more.

There was a war against Mameluks, Morocco, Persia and a few muslim minors which can only be called Epic :) I won a few key victories in the beginning, in wars between forces than numbered 40K men each. My allies Hungary and Bohemia were not so critical when it mattered, but moved on to occupy some provinces.
In the end i had a 87% score, but unfortunately because i wanted Alexandria in the negotiations i was unable to force the Mameluks to release Syria. Instead i got two syrian provinces, Libya, Alexandria and Al-Djazir from Morocco. I hope that after this shock the Mameluks will never again be able to field a dangerous force against me.

I felt like going on with the war, only Adal was left, but i was afraid of some war in Europe, and also 18K men rebelled in Constantinople (and another 6k in Athens) so i had to end this conflict. :)

The negotiation:

Some other things to notice are that Castille declared war on Morocco, and will probably annex it (maybe it is too big for that though), Austria got Milan, and France is rapidly expanding. Oh, and England has fallen victim to the might of Scotland :)

Spoiler :

ABSOLUTE PROOF! Poland can into space! (alright I shamelessly used cheats. but only the ones shown on the side. I'm ashamed).

I took out Mazovia pretty early, annexing them. Then I DoWed Moldavia, allowing me to attack ragusa. My mission? Gain access to the sea. I subjugated Moldovia, got involved in Russian politics (read: all out Tver-Muscowy-Novgorod-Yaroslavl war) and thought about attaacking Riga and Pommerania. I wasn't to intent on assaulting the bohemians though.

My allies are Lithuania, Muscowy, Teutons, Moldavia.

Edit: And blame AutoREALM for graphics.

No, the Mameluks ;) I filled them with revolts, hopefully something will gain independence.

England seems doomed. Castille will destroy the island for good :/

France is has a 100 ducat edge over me, currently i have around 1200 ducats income.

The rest of the game is peaceful, no monster Ming this time, although Persia might expand in the golden horde.

X-Post.

Wait, that's not Scotland with a 100% warscore against England?

The best way of getting places to become independent is to go to the Mameluk capital and do the mission that destablizes them. I did that against Spain with a 1776 start while playing as France, and several nations declared independence from them (Mexico, Central America, Quebec, Venezuela, Galicia, Catalunya* and Pegu).

*Conquered by me.

How did Ireland manage to form? Is that a regional decision?

What happened to Scotland? They controlled most of Britain just 20 years before?

One Irish minor usually conquers its neighbours if England doesn't do it first. Or it can be formed if England owns it and loses a war and the other nation demands they release Ireland.

Either one of the Irish minors formed Ireland (cores on all Irish provs and Irish culture is primary) or Irish rebels popped up in English-conquered Ireland (more likely).

Ottoman Empire, 1466

(image attached)

Ottoman Italy has started to form! I had to occupy Apulia to get Hellas, but after I took it I could have both, so I figured, why not? Catholicism was obviously a problem, so I sent a missionary, got lucky, and converted it on the first try. The Pope must not be too happy about that. Then I took Constantinople (at last), as well as their ally The Knights. By 1460 I had my current boundaries.

My next mission was to take Adana, from the Seljuk Turks who had rebelled against The Knights earlier (The Knights having previously taken Adana). Unfortunately, they put up a mighty good defence, and in the end I was forced to make peace both due to war exhaustion and their army looting my territory (never could completely eliminate their army, just decrease it piecemeal). General Winter didn't help, either. Guess that'll have to come later.

In the west, France is looking to be a power, what with having part of the HRE and all, and to the east Muscovy has capitalized on the implosion of the Golden Horde. The Timurids are still strong overall, but Transoxania has managed to become independent.

Incidentally, does anyone know if it's even worth trying to be chummy with the western Europeans? They all hate me now but an ally might be good to have in the future.

Hey Kyriakos, does everyone hate you, with all that infamy? If not, how did you do that?

The vast majority of the west has -30 relations with me. Some italian minors and Austria have -170, and i have good relations with Castille (not ready yet for a war with them) and Hungary, which are my two main antagonists in my borders ;)

My infamy got so high mostly because i took Sicily and Malta from Naples. That gave me +18...

As for the island of Great Britain, i am not sure what happened. Scotland did own most of it but then suddenly England got reborn. At that time i was involved in war in Italia so i did not pay attention. :)
