Here you can see the colonies, i am the huge blob from Mexico till Argentina, GB has colonized some historical areas, but lost a lot of colonies, both in Mexico to me and in North America to the surviving natives (???) and Navarra (??? again)
also look at the size of Burgundy...luckily i have managed to put relations from -200 to +43, so now they're quite friendly, i hope i can claim their throne someday
then i would be invencible!!!
but oh well, there is the UGLY Bohemia and Austrian Crimea in Europe, plus the awesome Byzantine Russia!! they will get to the pacific? one way or another, most of Byzantine territory is cored!
now in Asia Manchu and Malacca are easily the main powers, that blob in Tibet is a Manchu vassal.

That Burgundy is the most powerful AI empire i've ever seen, i can't even think of fighting it, would be suicidal, but at least the last war where both me and Burgundy were in was as allies, against a Castille that attacked me with colonialism (just to get crushed and lose a lot of colonies among other territories to released countries.

Speaking of which, the year is now AD 1851 and the Age of Invention is dawning. After outliving his son Heinrich, Karl VIII von Habsburg, Kaiser of Großösterreich (etc. etc.), has died, leaving a council of regents to govern the world for Christian, his grandson. Before his death though, he took an active role in the expansion of Imperial Hindustan and all but completed the division of the Caribbean between his various relatives.

After revolts throughout British Colonial Africa, Kanem Borno has expanded in the west and Imperial Südafrika in the east, before being awarded to the Kaiser's cousin as the new Habsburg Duchy of Orange. In Europe, an alliance was made with the Tsar of Russia and the Duchy of Georgia was split between Poland, Byzantium and Russia as part of the arrangement, and the Kingdom of Jerusalem has been entrusted to joint Algerian-Byzantine protection.

Russia conquered the Shaybanids and Khmer took advantage of the fall of Assam and the disintegration of the Ming Empire to seize much new land. The Kingdom of Tibet has resurged and the Manchu resistance are still holding against Ming efforts to bring them back into the fold. The Anglo-Nordic cooperation has led to much of eastern Siberia being settled and Great Britain has settled with Imperial Malaya over maritime borders in Indonesia and the Pacific.

That's New Austria, a self-modded Austrian version of the USA. I got a bunch of US cores, so I decided that New Austria would be a better fit for the game and edited the save-file to change the cores over. I then spent years (literally) releasing, fighting and envassalling my colonial revolters, manipulating Habsburgs onto their thrones and slowly allowing them to grow by selling them selected provinces. The same goes throughout Europe and Asia and it's basically all I've done for 70 years - manually establish the global borders to suit the Kaiser's dream for a united Austrian world.
