At this point it all starts to go wrong.

Release Savoy, Siena, Sicily and Fez as your vassals. That should reduce your infamy enough to get back to making yourself Holy Roman Emperor. :)

A few of them were already vassals but i will try that. I don't think I'm in the HRE though?

You're not in the HRE, but bribe and envassal the electors and then have yourself elected Emperor. You can't let Charles V & I's example go to waste. :D

I'll only be impressed if you can call your ruler all of the following titles at the same time:

-Duke of Burgundy
-Duke of Brabant
-Duke of Limburg
-Duke of Lothier
-Duke of Luxemburg
-Margrave of Namur
-Count Palatine of Burgundy
-Count of Artois
-Count of Charolais
-Count of Flanders
-Count of Hainault
-Count of Holland
-Count of Zeeland
-Duke of Guelders
-Count of Zutphen
-King of Castille and León
-King of Aragon and Sicily
-King of Naples
-King of the Romans
-Holy Roman Emperor
-Archduke of Austria

I'll refer you to Großösterreich above. I think I have Charles V beaten, ever so slightly. :D

The Old and New Worlds in the beginning of the year of our Lord 1837, during the reign of Karl VIII von Habsburg, Imperator Augustus Romanorum ac Teutonicorum, by the grace of God, Kaiser of Großösterreich, King of Germany, France and Jerusalem, Archduke of Austria and Bohemia, Duke of Burgundy and Südafrika, Count-Palatine of Sundau and Habsburg, Scourge of the Heretics, Defender of the Faith, and of Rome and the Imperial dominions across the seas, Emperor.

vs.

Charles, by the grace of God, Holy Roman Emperor, forever August, King of Germany, King of Italy, King of all Spains, of Castile, Aragon, León, Navarra, Grenada, Toledo, Valencia, Galicia, Majorca, Sevilla, Cordova, Murcia, Jaén, Algarves, Algeciras, Gibraltar, the Canary Islands, King of Two Sicilies, of Sardinia, Corsica, King of Jerusalem, King of the Western and Eastern Indies, Lord of the Islands and Main Ocean Sea, Archduke of Austria, Duke of Burgundy, Brabant, Lorraine, Styria, Carinthia, Carniola, Limburg, Luxembourg, Gelderland, Neopatria, Württemberg, Landgrave of Alsace, Prince of Swabia, Asturia and Catalonia, Count of Flanders, Habsburg, Tyrol, Gorizia, Barcelona, Artois, Burgundy Palatine, Hainaut, Holland, Seeland, Ferrette, Kyburg, Namur, Roussillon, Cerdagne, Zutphen, Margrave of the Holy Roman Empire, Burgau, Oristano and Gociano, Lord of Frisia, the Wendish March, Pordenone, Biscay, Molin, Salins, Tripoli and Mechelen.

Charles I/II/III/V (depending on where you were) had a lot more titles, but a lot less land. :p

EDIT: Unless you count the parts of the world he only said he controlled.

Ahh...Castille....NO ONE EXPECTS THE SPANISH INQUISITION!!!

:D sorry, couldn't hold it
and slow down on that infamy, slow down! infamy is dangerous, both for relations and if you go over the limit...say goodbye

I played a bit more and got discommunicated then France DoWed me :( I could of taken them on if it was just number of troops but i can seem to get any generals where as almost all there armies had them. In the end I rage quit without saving :D
I will try on that save again but i may retry with Castille again if I can't get anywhere with this.

How you got excommunicated? increase relations with the papal states...if you have high relations then yo won't get that annoyance.
